Story
Meet Spotty! This gorgeous and easygoing fluffball absolutely loves her people! She will seek you out and rub against you, purring loudly. If you let her, she’ll curl up and sleep on you, no matter where you are or what position you’re in. As a longhaired kitty, Spotty needs some grooming – not to worry! She loves to be brushed. In fact, she would be happy to groom you while you brush her. :-) Her favorite toys are crinkly toys and fishing pole toys as well as anything with catnip. This cuddler loves people of all ages (including kids as young as 5) and is comfortable around other cats. She also has experience with a dog – she is very tolerant but would prefer a home with no dogs or with a dog who tends to ignore kitties. Though she is currently an indoor/outdoor cat, Spotty loves to be inside; her family believes that she would be happy as an indoor-only cat. Spotty’s only “issue” is what appears to be chronic rhinitis. She frequently has a runny nose and sneezes. Her current family will ask their vet to summarize her rhinitis and their suggestions for diagnostics and treatment. To date, antibiotics appear to help short term but do not resolve the issue permanently. Spotty appears to be happy and content. However, her adopters will need to be prepared to delve into this apparent rhinitis if they wish to address the sneezing. Spotty is 8 years old and weighs about 11 lbs. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. The chronic rhinitis is her only known health issue. She has perfect litter box habits. This sweetie is looking for a new home because she needs more grooming and medical care than her current family is able to provide. We (FFOCAS) are helping Spotty’s family safely rehome her. Interested? Please reach out via email (ffocas4pets@gmail.com) or through Adoptapet. We’ll ask you to fill out a rehoming application to keep this process as safe as possible for all involved -- especially Spotty!

Story
Current Location: Arnold, MD Meet Wolfie: A Mysterious Beauty with a Heart of Gold With her flowing black coat that catches the light like midnight silk and eyes that glow like molten gold, Wolfie is nothing short of enchanting. At 4 months old, this stunning girl carries herself with an almost mystical grace. She is equal parts shadow and shimmer, mystery and sweetness. Don't let her shy demeanor fool you. Beneath that reserved exterior beats the heart of a cat who craves connection and affection. Wolfie may observe you quietly at first, those luminous golden eyes watching, waiting, wondering if you're the one who will unlock her secrets. But lift her gently into your arms, offer her soft scratches, and you'll discover the truth: she's been waiting for someone to see her, truly see her. When Wolfie purrs, it's like being let in on a secret - a soft rumble that says you've earned her trust, that she's chosen to share her world with you. Her glossy coat seems to shine brighter when she's content, as if happiness itself radiates from within. This ethereal beauty needs more than just a home. She needs someone who will appreciate the magic she brings. Someone who will admire her elegance, cherish her gentle nature, and love her not in spite of her shyness, but because of the precious gift it is when she opens up. Are you ready to be captivated by Wolfie? Completed Veterinary Care:
 - Spayed - FVRCP & Rabies vaccinations - Microchipped - Flea/tick preventative - Dewormed/parasite treatment completed

Story
Current Location: Falls Church, VA Searching for a Quiet Corner and a Kind Heart: Meet Evie, a 9-year-old beauty who is ready to trade the office life for a forever home. Evie is a sensitive soul who has navigated a lot of change with grace. After finding a multi-cat household a bit too overwhelming, she spent the last year and a half as a "professional office assistant." While she enjoyed the peace, she’s tired of spending her weekends alone and is looking for a human to call her own. Personality: Shy at first, but once she knows you, she’s a total sweetheart who loves head scritches and gentle playtime. The Vibe: Evie is a connoisseur of "me-time." She loves tucking herself into cozy, tight spaces for a nap. Ideal Home: A quiet, low-key environment. She’d prefer to be your "one and only," but she could co-exist with another senior, mellow cat. No dogs, please! If you are interested in giving this sweet girl a furever home of her own, hit that apply button today!

Story
Tess is a very pretty cat approx 6-8 years old. She can be a little shy around new people but is affectionate once she warms up. She is active and likes to play with toys. She has a lot of curiosity about what her foster mom and other cats are doing. Tess comes up to her foster mom for attention and pets. She is a pretty calm, laid back cat but sometimes gets annoyed with the kittens at her foster home. She does ok with the adult cats. Tess would make a great companion for someone who is home most of the day who can shower her with love.
