Story
All of our cats and kittens receive an exam, are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, de-flead, tested for FeLV and FIV, and microchipped. Esmerelda is not your average snugglebug—she’s your elegant roommate with opinions. A connoisseur of peace, high perches, and proper order, Esme doesn’t need your lap... just your love & respect. While only a select few earn the honor of petting her (nose boops are by appointment only), she loves being part of the action—tail high, eyes watchful, quietly policing the world from the sidelines. She adores other cats—particularly long haired boys—and will happily share her space and her affection with them. Interactive toys like laser pointers and wand dances? She’s all in. But when the commotion gets too chaotic, this graceful ghost will vanish to her safe haven... only to reappear once the world has righted itself. With her pretty eyes & fluffy coat, Esme is perfect for a cat-savvy soul who appreciates quiet companionship, playful moments, and the deep honor of being chosen—on her terms. This cat is currently in a foster home, so if you want to meet him or her, please fill out an adoption application. Applications can be found on our website at www.angelcathaven.com. It can be filled out online or emailed to adoptions@angelcathaven.com. If you have submitted an application and have been waiting to hear back from us for a few days, please check your SPAM folder. Adding adoptions@angelcathaven.com to your contacts may prevent the emails from being sent to the SPAM folder. If this is happening, please add cheri@angelcathaven.com to your contacts.

Story
Remy is an adorable bundle of joy with a big personality and the softest fur. He loves interactive play, especially with a wand toy, and enjoys playing with his two siblings. He is always in the middle of the action, adventurous, and curious. When he is ready for some down time he will walk into your lap for a snuggle, purring with contentment. He enjoys being brushed, held, and cuddled. He loves attention! Treat time is also an activity for Remy - he likes to bat them around the room before indulging. Remy is an active cat and must go home with a playmate (kitten or cat) (Rascal and Robin are his siblings).

Story
Ideal Home: Cool, Calm and Collected with another feline friend 🐾Qualities: Affectionate, Mellow, SnugglyWe have a very special girl ready for her adoption debut! Opal is a 5-year-old FIV+ long hair silver beauty who just might be the sweetest girl we've ever met. Opal enjoys spending her days on a good lap with her trusted person and simply can't get enough of being close and knowing how loved they are by her. Brushing is a relaxing pastime to share together, along with a nice afternoon snooze in the warm sun beams. Like her name, Opal is full of love and hope, laying the groundwork to ensure your balance of emotions and well being. She will need her time to settle in and substitute her shy demeanor with her blossoming affectionate one. She would benefit from another friendly feline to continue her growth and prosperity. She adores her best friend Captain whom she relies on for comfort, support, and the occasional kitty bath, and thinks it would be the cat's meow for them to go home together for all their ten lives! You may notice something extra special about Opal in that she is always lovingly winking at you. This is just an added charm to this wonderful girl who is ready for her forever home. If you could be her match, she hopes you will fill out an application today!Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) is a cat-specific virus that cannot be passed onto dogs or humans. FIV is spread through deep bite wounds, typically seen on outdoor male cats who have not been neutered. It's rarely spread through grooming, sharing bowls, or litter boxes. FIV affects a cat's immune system, but most cats live long lives when they live indoors, receive routine veterinary care, have a stress-free home, and a good diet. To learn more about FIV, please visit the link below. https://www.alleycat.org/resources/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv/______________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here:  https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/Please Note:If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

Story
Ideal Home: Ready for a loving boy who is quite the catch!Qualities: Lap Cat,Endearing,Affectionate.Jump on board, this adoption ship is sailing to happy times with Captain at the helm! 5 year old captain is one of the most handsome boys we ever did meet! He is a big fan of food puzzles, catnip toys and of course treatsies! Churu or crunchy bites both hit the spot for captain, but what makes him happiest is snuggling close on the couch next to his forever person. Captain is never far to help guide you through your day, usually following you around and ensuring he is available for anything you may need!If Captain isn't close by, you can typically find him in his beloved crows nest by the window, keeping a lookout for bird and squirrels to make friends with. He is a pro at utilizing his nautical senses in keeping things in tip top shape and ensuring smooth sailing throughout your days together. Captain just may be the cutest sea adventurer we ever did see, and he  loves to grumble and vocalize. He rarely meows but has a lot to say with his other adorable noises. Captain can be rough around the edges at first glance but has turned into a human-loving mush ball who begs for head scratches and even sits for treats!  Captain is FIV+ and positively fabulous, ready for his next adventure! One thing that makes Captain’s heart set sail? His fellow foster, Opal! These two have formed a special bond, and while Captain is happy to explore new horizons, he would love to find a home where he and Opal could continue their journey together.Allow Captain to navigate your heart, and your couch! Don't rely on rumors of how pawsome this boy is, sea for yourself! Story
MEET CRISPIN - Read about my glow-up and watch my videos!*FIV+Crispin`s story is one of the most compelling in recent memory here at the Dedham Shelter. Crispy arrived injured and down on his luck; he had the look and demeanor of a cat who had given up. With excellent vet care and a lot of loving attention, Crispy`s turn-around has been nothing short of remarkable. Once Crispy was feeling better physically, we found that the keys to Crispy`s happiness are actually pretty easy to provide: open space and feline friends! Based on his experience here, we think his perfect match would be a quiet home with one or more cats, and a sunny spot for Crispy to lounge. In addition to being a sensitive, intelligent boy, we might use the word `lazy` to describe Crispy. Even when he plays, he tends to conserve his energy - think `power-saver mode`. Crispy also asked us to let you know that he`s extremely fond of wet food, so it would be appreciated if interested candidates could bring a tasty snack when you come to meet him (to be provided by his faithful team of dedicated staff and volunteers). We are sure that Crispy`s happy ending `tail` will resonate with someone anxious to meet him. If that`s you, come on over and see if it`s love at first sight!Crispin is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Crispin or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.Meet Crispin!I`t`s Crispy Time!Crispy Pets!
