Story
Saint will need a home that appreciates his time that he needs to adjust and know that he is still safe and loved. He will always be a cautious kitty, but you will be rewarded quickly when you pet him and he slobbers on you. I call him a slobber monster. It is very endearing. He will do well in a home that is calmer and without any animals. He will survey and protect the home to ensure everyone's safety. Saint loves "Scritchies" and "lovies" on the head. He was neglected as a kitten and beyond, but he is a true lover at heart. I used to tell him, you're no angel, but you are a Saint. He really has grown into his name. On his own terms. He loves interacting with humans. He is gorgeous and soft. Still learning his carrier manners. He loves to be dramatic whilst in it, but as soon as he comes out, he looks around like what, I just wanted out people! He is super playful and also independent. Welcome Saint in to your Parish, and be forever blessed.

I originally took Bub as a temporary arrangement to help a friend whose housing situation changed and could not take him with her. The plan was for me to give him a place to stay until a loving family was able to adopt him. Unfortunately, I am not able to keep him either, and am pitching in to help him find a permanent home. Bub is a very quiet, mellow cat and spends a lot of time sleeping or laying in the sun. While he is not a lap cat or "aggressively cuddly," he does like to hop up next to you and lay against your leg or torso while you watch TV or read a book. He can be kind of nervous around new people at first, but eventually he will come to greet you at the door or follow you into various rooms around the house. The walls come down pretty quickly when you scratch him, brush him, or give him treats. If you call his name, he'll often chirp and walk right over. He is great with using the litter box and does not seem interested in scratching anything that's not a scratching post.
