Story
Some kittens are all zoomies from the moment they enter a room. Corduroy prefers a softer approach. She likes to take a moment to figure things out first, and once she does, she becomes the sweetest little fluffball you could hope to meet.
At just 1.75 lbs, she's the tiniest member of the Cozy Litter, and with her cloud-soft fur, oversized ears, and gentle eyes, she looks like a tiny woodland creature that somehow wandered into kittenhood.
Go watch Corduroy, the Littlest Cozy Companion on YouTube, then come right back to read more!
You'll see this petite little girl quietly taking everything in before settling into the sweetest moments. Watch her happily romp around with her siblings, accept treats with polite enthusiasm, and don't miss the heart-melting scene where a five-year-old gently cradles her like a baby and sings her lullabies. Corduroy simply relaxed into his arms as if she'd known him forever!
Estimated to be almost 3 months old, with a birthday of May 3, 2026, Corduroy weighs approximately 1.75 lbs. She appears to be a Domestic Long Hair with a beautiful torbie coat, though as with all rescue kittens, her breed is simply our best educated guess.
Corduroy is part of the Cozy Litter, a trio of kittens who love spending their days together. While her siblings may be the first to investigate every toy, Corduroy is happiest joining in the fun by chasing them around the room. Watching her race after her brothers and sisters with her fluffy little tail trailing behind is enough to make anyone smile.
When playtime slows down, Corduroy shines in a different way. Once she feels comfortable, she's wonderfully snuggly and content to simply be close. Her fur is unbelievably soft—the kind that practically begs for gentle pets—and cuddling her feels a little like holding a warm, purring cloud.
Treats also earned her approval. She happily accepted every one I offered, proving that while toys may not always steal the show, a tasty snack is another easy way to win this little girl's heart.
One of the sweetest moments during our visit came when my five-year-old nephew picked Corduroy up, gently rocked her like a baby, and sang her little lullabies. She stayed relaxed in his arms through the whole performance, making it clear that underneath her quiet nature is a kitten who enjoys feeling safe, loved, and close to her people.
Like every kitten her age, Corduroy is still growing and discovering the world around her. She'll benefit from a family that gives her the time to settle in while encouraging her playful side to continue blossoming. We have a feeling that as her confidence grows, so will the number of cuddles she happily hands out.
If you've been hoping for a kitten who is as soft as she is sweet, Corduroy just might be your girl!
She's tiny enough to fit in your hands, fluffy enough to make every cuddle irresistible, and gentle enough to steal your heart before you even realize it's happened!
