Story
Jet is about 5 years old. We got her from our daughter about 3 years ago, whose new landlord did not allow cats. We are now operating a wedding venue from our home and unfortunately need to say goodbye to our cats due to potential cat allergies of guests. Jet is friendly (especially to visitors), likes a good belly scratch, but also likes his space and doesn't normally like to be held for too long. He's a beautiful cat and deserves a good home. His "roommate" is Matza and could be rehomed with her if possible.

Story
The good about him -He is a DOLL, he is so sweet and gentle. He comes when you call him. He is good with my other cat and dogs and kids. -He is great for the groomer. -He only like cheap xxxx@xxxx.x as we call them his "captain crunch". The unique about him -After years of experimentation the only bathroom situation we have found that works is a litter box for poop and a pee pad for pee. Could other things work....possibly...do we have to adjust and adapt his bathroom situation every few years? Most definitely. He's a weird dude. Right now we've been on a good streak for about a year but anyone who takes him in should know he's fussy about this and be willing to work with him while he adapts. -Because of his unique bathroom habits he can be a stinky boy. I have him groomed about every 4 weeks but if I had the funds I would send him every 2/3 weeks. -He has always been a little underweight and the only food I can consistently get him to eat is Costco Kibble and is a messy eater

Story
Hi, I am Stella the Fella and have I got a story to tell ya! You see, as a very special Persian, you grow up, knowing that you are the center of the universe - that I am!! I have a growing family and, life has gotten busy for everybody. When my older human siblings were younger, life was ok, but we have a younger sibling that has taken some of my cuddle time and now that she is more mobile, it has become very stressful for me. I am on prescription urinary food, which, my human mom can tell you about. Anyway, my human mom is heartbroken, because she loves all of us and knows that I am very unhappy. She wants me to have a happy life in a quieter home. I do ok with older kids, we even have a dog and I am ok with it too. Slow introductions are always best with animals. I have had some outdoor time, but I could adjust to a quieter indoor only home. As a Persian, I do need for you to have Persian experience, because we do need to be brushed, and aside from being revered and the center of the universe, we do have grooming requirements. I am microchipped and am good with my litterbox. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.April 28, 2026, 2:02 am

Story
Winter is a Persian-Ragdoll (Perdoll) & is only available with his Perdoll daughter, Aroura (see her post). They're always together! When our daughter adopted Aurora as a kitten, Winter became depressed & stopped eating. We brought her home & immediately they returned to being inseparable. It's heartwarming to watch them together! Both Winter & Aroura are super sweet, affectionate, playful, gentle giants. Aurora will flop in from of you, exposing her fluffy belly, tempting your hand or foot for a warm tummy rub, then viscously, painlessly, engulf her prey with all her might! Winter will do the same, but we don't recommend falling for HIS tummy-trap! His prowess is fitting his 10+lbs of fluff into the smallest container possible. He's obsessed with water & loves a good fountain! They are both fabulous with kids & other pets & are treat-trained. They love going outside, rain, snow or shine, so they'll need at least a catio to get their feet wet in, so they can dry them off on your lap!

These cats are in Cornelius, Oregon too!

Story
Hello, I am a special little girl looking for a special person to give me a safe place to call home. I am sight impaired and have neuro tendencies. I have been this way since I was born. I am very silly so watching me play will make you laugh. I walk almost like I am ice skating but I get where I am going. My whole world is on the floor since I can easily fall off of things. I get scared easily by new noises and smells. I do well with the litter box and the people who care for me have decided I am much cleaner when I am using a pellet litter and a box that allows the pee to drain to a potty pad. They can explain more about that. I do best eating out of a raised bowl with a higher back since I tend to push my food out of the bowl when I eat. They will send my bowl with me when I am adopted. I like to play with blankets and my own paws more than toys but I am figuring out some toys recently. Since I have a fluffier coat I do need help with keeping my butt fur trimmed so I stay cleaner after using the litter box. I get upset when poop gets stuck in my fur. I am learning to like being held as long as my legs can dangle. people tried to hold me on my back like a baby because my sister loves being held that way but it scares me. Kids: older or adult only due to tendency to bite when playing. Cats: other cats that don`t interact with her as much would be okay but she gets scared by other cats moving around and touching her. Preferably she would like to be a single pet in the home.Dogs: scary, too much movement and noise.Housing: No stairs, or confined area that is safe for her. Carpet or rugs would help her move around easier. Small area is likely best for her so she knows where everything is. Medical: Cataracts, neuro (similar to cerebellar hypoplasia), odd limb movements and uncoordinated walking

Story
This majestic, fluffy girl has been an indoor-only cat and is happy living the cozy life. She loves two things most: playing and eating! Miss Fluffy Britches is also quite the talker, always ready to share her thoughts with you. She’s healthy, litter box trained, and full of personality. Don’t be surprised if she gives you the occasional side-eye while you’re eating—with her cute little face tilted and a paw ready to swoop in on what she thinks belongs to her! She has been known to enjoy a few human food treats from time to time—favorites include pizza toppings like pepperoni, olives, cheese, mac & cheese, and buttered toast. We’re not sure yet how she does with other pets or children, but in the right home she’s sure to bring lots of charm, fluff, and laughs.  This fluffy cat is 3 yars old and lives in Beaverton with her owner.  Her rehoming fee is $75.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.  Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. Story
Gavin is truly one of the sweetest souls you’ll ever meet. He’s the perfect companion for someone who works from home or simply wants a calm, comforting presence nearby—without the nonstop energy and demands of a kitten. Gavin is more of a solo act. He would do best as the only pet, or in a home with a very laid-back, independent cat who will happily coexist without needing interaction. Busy, high-energy homes or loud environments can be overwhelming for him, so he’s looking for a peaceful space where he can relax and feel secure. He is strictly an indoor-only kitty.  Gavin lives in Oregon City with his owner and his rehoming fee is $50   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM.
