Story
Hi, my name is Mr. Gray. Once upon a time, my human parents adopted us, me and my brother (Thumper) and we were one happy family! I have older human siblings and we were all doing great. Well, now, as our family has grown and gotten busier, we have a new human baby in the family and that has seriously put me and my brother over the edge. My human mom knows that we are unhappy and she is working with Second Chance Companions to find us a home where we can be together. So, about us, we are about 8 years old and very bonded. We might be a bit timid at first, but once comfortable, we would do very well - as long as we have each other. Of course, older, cat respecting kids would be better - those little ones are kinda noisy. We don't have any dog experience, so we can skip that. We have lived an indoor life and that suits us just fine. We will be microchipped and brought current on the RCP vaccine as a part of the adoption process and we are very good with the litter box.If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.May 30, 2026, 1:39 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Daisy! If you are looking for a new companion, I'm your gal! I recently had a litter of kittens, so I am currently adjusting to being myself again and enjoying some relaxation. I love laying in the sunny spot on the rug, purring on your lap, and playing with toys. Toddlers might be a bit too noisy for me but older kids might be better so they can understand my cat signs. I can be a little bit spicy if my personal space is invaded, but i truly love hanging out on my own terms. I do not do so well with other cats, but in my defense, I have been in mom mode. My foster home had a senior dog that I did ok with. Slow introductions are always better. Before I came to SCC, I was a stray that made my way to a feral colony and was trapped. I got a clean bill of health on my FELV/FIV test, I am current on my vaccines, microchipped and very good with my litterbox. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.May 30, 2026, 1:39 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Lucy and my brother, CH - Chris and I are looking for a very special person. You see, our human mom took us off the streets as feral cats when we were really young - as cats go, but probably as feral cats go, really too late to 'flip us', to be regular house cats. She really loves us! But time, of course, is the demon of our fate. You see, she went into assisted living and was unable to take us with her. My brother Chris, he is really my protector - kind of like my emotional support animal (and I am his). He is way more outgoing than I am, so, if you are looking for a 24/7 lap cat, he would be the one, but you see, we are a package deal. He is my voice. Because we are ramping down on 12 years old, SCC got us a senior blood panel and in the scheme of things, we are doing alright. Our foster person tricked me into getting into a carrier - - not cool, but I got a sedated shave of my belly, and my 3 yr rabies shot during that 'adventure' - - - So, let me tell you about me. I am a petite girl (most of what you see in my pictures is fluff) I am under 8 pounds. I am a timid girl My brother is a bit more outgoing and he is my mighty protector. As you can see from our pics, we are very bonded and are often perched together by the window, watching the world go by. We also like to play with catnip mice inside crinkly, kitty tunnels. Our foster has a camera in the room and watches us play. We would be best in a quiet home environment, retirees that live a quiet life, and are home more. If friends or family do come to visit, they might not see us, but you should know that we will be waiting for your company to leave so that we can come out. As you might assume, kids are a bit noisy for us, and even though we had a dog in our lives before, we can do without that. We are current on our vaccines and microchipped and are very good with our litterbox. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.March 7, 2026, 3:28 pm
