Story
Hi there, my name is Dada. I’m a four-year-old, snow-white, male Persian cat with a princely personality and striking good looks to match. I am deaf and front-declawed. Though I can not hear, I experience the world in vivid detail and live each day with vibrant spirit. Like the absurd, nonsensical art movement I was named after, I bring a touch of whimsy to everyday life.     I am full of sweetness with a side of cheeky charm. I show my affection in roguish ways. I’ll hop on your lap during bathroom breaks and supervise your toothbrushing routine. I’ll rearrange your personal affects and like magic, make your socks disappear. I’ll lick your toes until I can’t resist and must get a little nibble.     I’m a jester in fur, and my curiosity knows no bounds. Once the game begins, I’ll chase, pounce, and hunt with all my might. A flick of a wand toy unleashes my inner acrobat, and spiral toys send me into joyful twirls and leaps. When the zoomies hit, I run like the wind—sometimes so fast that I crash into walls, only to bounce back undeterred. I’m a high-jumper who lands with theatrical thuds, and vacuums? I fear them not.   I’ll trot at your heels until the call of my own fanciful world lures me away. When that happens, you might find me at the window, contemplating the flora, fauna, and neighbor. Or perhaps, I’ll be at the mirror, marveling at my reflection. After all, if you were this beautiful, you’d call yourself a masterpiece too!     I have an independent streak, and I’m just as stubborn as I am sweet. I don’t take ‘no’ for an answer—partly because I can’t hear you, but mostly because I’m that determined. Luckily, I’m so convincingly cute that you won’t mind giving in! Call me a musician, because I’ll happily play you like a fiddle!   When the day winds down, you’ll find me lounging by your side, mesmerized by bird videos on YouTube. I’m a perfect mix of mischief and merriment, keeping every day lively and fun.     *I have litter box quirks and avoidance issues. I am on a prescription urinary diet to support my needs. With a calm and predictable routine, I’ve made great progress. I am looking for a patient and understanding adopter to help me be my best. With the right environment and plenty of loving care, I’ll continue to thrive—and keep life delightfully interesting!November 4, 2025, 2:36 pm

Story
“Mama Lee-Lee,” was named during the excitement of the 2024 Paris Olympics. She carries the torch for her namesake, USA foil fencing Olympic champion, Lee Kiefer. Kiefer, a University of Kentucky med student, is lightning quick in her sport where she won gold with determined, pointed accuracy. Mama Lee-Lee had her kittens outside where she had to revert to her instincts to keep them safe and alive. She was trapped and brought inside where her med student saviors began to socialize the fluffy felines. Mama was never aggressive, but she was lightning quick to remind the humans that she set boundaries with her claws, which, unlike her namesake’s fencing foil, were very sharp. As her babies weaned and learned to love and trust humans, mama did, too. She loves to play with the jingle toy on a stick and to have her silky fur petted. She will make biscuits when spoken to sweetly and has made ‘winky eyes’ to her caregivers from her first days with them. She really LOVES her offspring and they love her. She is bonded to last remaining kitten Suni Extraordinaire and they must be adopted together. Lee-Lee has a distrust of dogs from her time outside. Born 3/1/2024 estimated by vet Lee-Lee,” a small, smart, long-haired tuxedo kitty found refuge for her three kittens in the parking garage at the UNT Health Science Center. The kittens were taught that safety from predators, cars, (and humans who came too close) was a quick scurry into the undercarriage of the electric carts plugged in on the first floor. A cat mom who had adopted her first fur baby from Meowtown was leaving the gym at the Texas Health Science Center one evening. She had just graduated and was soon to leave to begin her residency in another state. Walking to her car, she spotted the little family in the parking garage. That feline family won the lottery that night as that med student and her med student friends made it their mission to get them safe and cared for. Story
Elbie is the kind of kitten people hope for when they imagine the perfect companion—soft, soulful, and endlessly loving. With her luxurious long black fur, a sweet little white spot on her chest (like a tiny star), and the most beautiful bushy tail, she’s truly a showstopper. But it’s her heart that makes her unforgettable. Elbie adores attention. She seeks out snuggles, melts into your arms, and purrs like it’s her favorite language. She’s gentle, kind, and deeply affectionate… the type of kitten who wants to be near you, whether that means curling up beside you on the couch, quietly supervising your day, or tucking herself into your arms at bedtime. She has a calm, loving presence and a naturally sweet disposition, making her an ideal match for someone looking for a true companion kitten, not just a playful blur of energy (though she still enjoys her kitten moments). Elbie would thrive in a home where she can be cherished, doted on, and included as part of the family. With the holidays approaching, Elbie would make a magical Christmas kitten—the kind that turns quiet winter nights into cozy memories and becomes part of every tradition from here on out. She’s not just beautiful; she’s loving, comforting, and ready to give her whole heart to her forever person. If you’re looking for a kitten who feels like home, Elbie is waiting 🖤✨ Born 5/14/2025 If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!

Story
Meet Bear 🐾 Bear is a gentle, quiet soul who has been steadily blossoming into a loving house cat. Around 2 years old, he has spent the past few months adjusting to the comforts of indoor life — and he’s truly coming into his own. While Bear is still shy and prefers the calm presence of his foster mom, he’s made amazing progress. Each day, he grows a little braver, a little more curious, and a little more trusting. He’s learning that people can be kind, safe, and even the source of delicious treats. Playtime is one of Bear’s favorite parts of the day — wand toys and chase games bring out his silly, kittenish side. He’s also a total snack enthusiast, and mealtime is his love language. With a little patience (and a few treats), you’ll find yourself winning him over bit by bit. One of the most special things about Bear? He loves other cats. He thrives in the company of feline friends, whether they’re affectionate or more reserved — he’s the kind of cat who just wants to belong. Bear would do best in a home that: Has at least one other cat (friendly or aloof — Bear doesn’t mind) Is quiet and adult-only or has calm older teens Understands that trust takes time, and love is earned slowly but deeply If you’re someone who finds joy in watching a shy cat find his confidence, and you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion with a heart full of potential, Bear may be the perfect addition to your home.
