Meet Maddy! Maddy is a gorgeous Persian born in February 2022.Maddy is a beautiful Persian with a big heart and a wonderfully opinionated personality. This sweet girl is very loving and affectionate on her own terms and will happily reward you with snuggles, soft purrs, and cozy time in her favorite bed with blankets and a heating pad. She’s a little purr machine who truly enjoys quiet, relaxed companionship.Because Maddy can become overstimulated, she does best in a calm home without young children. She’s great at communicating her boundaries and thrives with someone who will respect her need for occasional alone time. While she tolerates brushing and nail trims, she needs a patient, gentle adopter who is committed to daily brushing or regular professional grooming to keep her gorgeous coat healthy and mat-free. Story
Meet GatitoBorn in August 2025 Gatito aka Toast is a very special cat and would make a great addition to a loving family. He earned his nickname, Toast, because of the number of times he has attempted to steal bread. Despite his petite, small stature, he seems to a lover of all foods and it always present when someone is in the kitchen preparing food. He is a big cuddler. He loves to be in your lap. He also loves to come sleep in a bed with humans at night, cuddling. He loves to be around his people - it`s like having a little shadow during the day because he loves to follow you around and keep you company. He`s very playful and enjoys toys of all sorts. He often gets the `zoomies` and can be seen tearing through the house. He also loves to play chase and hide-and-seek with our resident cat. He doesn`t seem to mind polite dogs and will even occasionally share a lap with one of our resident pugs. He is very tolerant of toddlers and young children. He`s very adaptable, but would likely prefer to have someone home during the day with him, as he loves attention and wants to be with his people. He is fully vetted. You must submit an application to be considered for adoption. We cannot reply to all inquiries, but respond to all no obligation applications. Fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/cat-adoption-application It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Gabby is a 14-year-old senior kitty with the gentlest soul. I’ve had her since childhood, and she has been my best friend for years. She had a difficult life before coming to me, so she can be shy at first and needs time to bond. Once she feels safe, she becomes deeply attached and will quietly follow you from room to room just to be near you. Gabby loves warm windows, soft beds, small cozy spaces, treats, and being talked to in a calm voice. She is fully litter trained and has great indoor manners. She enjoys gentle pets and affection but does not like baths. Because she is older, she will need regular checkups and someone patient who understands senior cats. She would do best in a quiet home without a lot of visitors, where she can feel secure and adjust at her own pace. This decision is being made out of love due to housing restrictions and long work hours. Gabby deserves a peaceful, stable home where she can relax and be cherished for her golden years. 💙

Story
We have been taking care of a community cat (along with a neighbor) for awhile and made several attempts to get her spayed before she got pregnant, but the times we took her in, they weren't able to accomdate her(one time she was in the wrong carrier and the second time they ran out of appointment slots). So she got pregnant and after she had the kittens, we brought them into our house (along with the mom) to socialize them. We thought our neighbors relative was gong to take two of the kittens, but when we said they were ready, they backed out. They are super adorable and so much fun to watch them playing together.

Story
From his foster mom, Jacquelyn: Hilo is a playful, energetic boy who takes his toy-hunting responsibilities very seriously. One of my favorite things about Hilo is watching him stalk, pounce, and chase his toys across the floor. If something skids, rolls, bounces, or moves, Hilo is ready for action. He especially loves feather toys on a string and will happily spend time showing off his impressive hunting skills. While Hilo enjoys playtime and adventure, he also has a sweet and affectionate side. Once he's gotten his energy out, he's perfectly content to relax nearby and curl up next to his favorite person for some well-earned downtime. Hilo is the kind of kitten who strikes a wonderful balance between independence and companionship. He can entertain himself when needed, but he also enjoys being close to his people and sharing quiet moments together. He can be a little reserved when meeting new people or experiencing new situations, but with a little patience, his friendly personality quickly begins to shine through. Watching him grow more confident and comfortable is incredibly rewarding. Hilo gets along well with other cats and would likely enjoy a home where he has opportunities for play, enrichment, and plenty of toys to chase. A family that enjoys interactive play sessions will quickly become his favorite people. His brother, Ohana, is also up for adoption. They love to play together and would make an especially cute pair if you're considering adding two kittens to your family. If you're looking for a kitten who can turn a feather wand into the most exciting event of the day and then happily curl up beside you afterward, Hilo may be the perfect addition to your family. Born 04/12/2026 At Meowtown, we don't have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They're not waiting to become housecats… they already are. They just need a house. This kitten has not been neutered yet, but is available as Foster2Adopt. You adopt and take the kitten home with you, and we pay for and arrange for neuter later. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!
