Salem is looking for a loving possible permanent foster home to help her recover while sheis being monitored. Foster Reason: possible onformational airway issue + monitoring breathing in home enviornment Foster Time Frame: 2 Weeks (The foster time frame could be longer depending on future medical results and needs.) Foster Care Plan: Salem is exibiting some respiratory distress while in a foster home. Our medical team wants to try a change in her enviornment to see if this helps her current symptoms. If she is not showing any concerns, we would like to move her to permanent foster in the home. Permanent “Bucket List” Foster Program:Salem has been chosen for our Permanent Foster program—lovingly called our “Bucket List” foster. Pets in this program remain in foster care for life due to chronic health conditions. They will not be made available for adoption but will instead stay under the lifelong care of Operation Kindness, supported by our foster network.

I’ll lick your toes until I can’t resist and must get a little nibble. I’m a jester in fur, and my curiosity knows no bounds. Once the game begins, I’ll chase, pounce, and hunt with all my might. A flick of a wand toy unleashes my inner acrobat, and spiral toys send me into joyful twirls and leaps. When the zoomies hit, I run like the wind—sometimes so fast that I crash into walls, only to bounce back undeterred. I’m a high-jumper who lands with theatrical thuds, and vacuums? I fear them not. I’ll trot at your heels until the call of my own fanciful world lures me away. When that happens, you might find me at the window, contemplating the flora, fauna, and neighbor. SWEETEST, HAPPY GIRL WILL LOVE ANYONE WHO IS WARM AND GENTLE WITH HER. PREFERS A HOME THAT`S FAIRLY QUIET, BUT A LITTLE FUN IS OKAY TOO. HAS BEEN VERY CALM BEING FACE-TO-FACE WITH OTHER CATS THROUGH A WINDOW OR GATE. A LITTLE NERVOUS WHEN DOGS ARE BARKING, BUT HASN`T BEEN TESTED WITH DOGS. I`m the best little friendly kitty waiting quietly in my condo for someone to come visit. I`ll eagerly run right over to see you, and if you don`t see me, just call me, because I may be asleep in the next compartment. If you are paying attention and listening closely, you might be able to hear when I smile and meow at you! I enjoy hearing your voice and sweet talk so much that I could listen to it all day! I`ll spend lots of time just following you around, then brushing all around your legs when you stop. I`m a great snuggle cat to sit with, quite content to just chill with you. I`ve stopped a couple of times lately to only watch the toy moving under a sheet. They did have my attention with a wand toy for a few minutes one time, but I never started playing. So there`s something to the sparkle in my eye and my perky personality that says once I get settled in, I just might start to play after all! So keep some toys around and that wand toy handy so we can work on that! I love having soft cushions and comfy places to lay. A cat tree with a sleep box in the middle by a window will be perfect for when I`m alone. I`ve been picky about eating, not crazy about my Purina One dry food. I love some Fancy Feast wet food, but won`t touch certain flavors. You`ll have to try some of each to figure out which is which.
