Iggy is a small innocent kitten who is loving and very playful. He has 5 siblings who he enjoys cuddling with and chasing around. Like all orange tabby kittens, he is spontaneous and mischievous. He deserves a home where he can get the proper attention and love that him and all his siblings deserve.

Story
Hi, I’m Stormy ♡I am more of a shy, independent type. I like quiet spaces, cozy corners, and observing everything from a safe distance. I may take a little time to warm up, but once I feel comfortable, I’m very sweet and gentle.I’m not super needy and honestly enjoy doing my own thing most of the time, but I still love being near my people in my own quiet way. I do well with dogs and kids, though I’ll probably spend a lot of time hiding out in my favorite cozy spots.I would thrive in a calm, patient home where I can feel safe, loved, and accepted exactly as I am. ♡

Story
Meet me at PetSmart Hurst! I'm currently in the adoption area waiting for my forever home. Email meowtownar@gmail.com to schedule a time to meet me. From his foster mom, Michele: Little is a calm, affectionate boy with beautiful long golden fur and matching golden eyes that make him absolutely stunning in person. Even though he looks like he'd be a big cat, he's actually a smaller guy at just a little over 8 pounds. He can be shy at first, but once he gets comfortable, he becomes very loving and vocal. One of my favorite things is how he runs over for pets when I walk into the room and talks back to me while I'm petting him. Little enjoys being near his people and is perfectly happy relaxing quietly while you go about your day. He has a very calm, gentle personality and really seems to enjoy peaceful companionship more than constant activity. He was surrendered by his previous owner due to financial hardship and is still adjusting to some changes in life, including becoming a fully indoor cat. He had previously lived with both dogs and cats and has done well with them, though slow introductions are best while he settles in. Little also loves being brushed and pampered. He’s recently been learning things like using a cat tree and playing with toys, which has been really sweet to watch. I think he would do best in a quieter home, especially with someone who appreciates a calm companion and is willing to give him a little time to settle in and build trust. Once he does, he’s incredibly affectionate, easygoing, and rewarding to be around. Little is truly such a gentle soul and deserves a home where he can finally relax, feel safe, and be loved. Born 3/1/2018 At Meowtown, we don’t have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They’re not waiting to become housecats… they already are. They just need a house. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!

Story
This is Gypsy! She will be 8 years old in August. She is a very sweet girl. When I adopted her I was told she is a Maine Coon mix. She is skittish but will warm up to you over time and treats. Shes a little picky on certain things but I will share all her funny traits with you. Like how she will only eat fish flavored foods. I have had Gypsy her entire life and it shatters my heart to have to rehome her. I cannot afford to care for her anymore and I am moving back home and can’t take her with me due to a cat aggressive dog in the home. The ideal home for her would be chill and docile. As she is older she does not enjoy playful young animals. She kind of likes to mind her own business. She does like other animals and has been caught cuddling other cats but they have to be a calm cat like her. Don’t get me wrong, she loves playing but she’s not a rambunctious cat. But she will love cuddling her new human. She will need a vet visit soon to update her shots and everything.

Story
I’m Sue, foster mom for Zeus and Oreo, a bonded pair up for adoption. These two boys have formed a quiet, special bond in my home, and I would love to see them continue that together.Oreo is the one who will win you over immediately. He’s a big, beautiful tuxedo with a thick, smoky coat and a confident, easygoing personality. He loves people, loves being brushed and pet, and will happily cuddle up with you to watch TV. He’s friendly, relaxed, and just a really easy cat to have around. Oreo came to us through no fault of his own when his family had to surrender him due to allergies, and he’s handled the transition like a champ.Zeus is different - and that’s what makes him special. He’s a stunning Maine Coon and a gentle, sensitive boy who takes his time learning to trust. He’s not the kind of cat who rushes into your arms… but he is the kind who will quietly choose you over time. He now approaches, sniffs for connection, and has started asking for pets - and those moments feel incredibly meaningful. These two complement each other beautifully. Oreo brings confidence and ease, while Zeus brings depth and quiet connection. They both enjoy simple things - toys from the toybox, watching the world from a window, and just sharing space with their person.Zeus will need patience and a calm home where he can continue to open up, but he’s already making progress - and having Oreo by his side gives him a sense of comfort and stability. If you’re someone who wants an easy, loving companion and the opportunity to make a real difference in a shy cat’s life, this pair offers both. Oreo will be your instant buddy… and Zeus will be your slow, meaningful bond.Zeus born 6/10/2021At Meowtown, we don’t have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes.
