Story
Meet Pippa 💕 TOO LONG, DIDN’T READ - SUMMARY: * Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat * Our rescue is located in Houston, TX, and we transport our babies to wonderful adopters in the Northeast, Pacific Northwest, and locations along those routes. Transport cost is included in the adoption fee. * Adoption fee (1-1.5 yr, special breed) is $450 --- Pippa is a stunning young Siamese mama, only about 8 months old, with the gentlest heart you could imagine. After surviving life on the streets, she’s finally discovering what it means to feel safe, loved, and cared for — and watching her blossom has been something truly special. Despite being just a kitten herself, Pippa has been an incredible mother to her babies, Piper and Puck, and even took in a tiny orphan kitten named Paisley as her own. She’s nurturing, patient, and endlessly sweet with every kitten she meets. Pippa absolutely adores people. She loves being near her humans, soaking up pets and attention whenever she can get them. She’s delightfully vocal in the classic Siamese way: chatty and expressive without ever being too loud or demanding. At mealtime, her gratitude still shines through; every evening she devours her wet food like it’s the greatest gift in the world. She’s what I would consider an “expensive dinner date”!! Now that she’s settled into foster care, Pippa is finally getting the chance to just be a kitten. After a few weeks of feeling safe indoors, she has started learning how to play, and it’s impossible not to smile watching her discover toys and silliness for the first time. Pippa prefers all four paws safely on the ground, so being held still makes her a little nervous, but she loves cuddling beside her people and staying close. With patience and love, her confidence continues to grow every day. Pippa is a gentle, loving soul who deserves a home where she’ll never have to worry again — just soft beds, full bowls, kind hands, and people to adore her forever. --- Pippa is a social girl and would do best if adopted with one of her kittens, foster friends, or to a home with patient, playful resident cats at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens --- Pippa is ~1 year old, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy... all she needs now is the perfect home! The adoption application can be found here:

Pippa, her kittens, and her foster friends are currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes.

 --- ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:

Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!

Story
Meet Angela! ❤️ A super sweet older kitten, I’m known for my cuddles and cute little Mohawk — yep, my hair often sticks straight up like I just rolled out of bed. My name means “messenger,” because one day I showed up at a Pack N Ship store with one important message for the postman: “FIND ME A HOME!” I love attention and cuddles way more than playtime. I’m always ready to explore a new lap, meet a new cuddle buddy, or chase a toy for a bit. Sit down next to me for two seconds and we’ll already be best friends. I’d do great with a furry friend and a warm lap to call my own. So send me a message. 💌 —Reach out today to meet me! —Or see me at PetSmart 2902 S Shepherd Dr Sat & Sun • 11:30am–4pm

Story
MR CONGENIALITY WHO'S ALSO BONA FIDE EYE CANDY  DOB 2/25/24 Hey there, everyone! I’m Milo, an affectionate, outgoing, and playful lynx-point Siamese mix fella who luxuriates when I’m Foster Meowmy lavishes me with love and affection. In fact, if I feel like she’s not giving me enough of the attention that I crave, I’ll head-butt her to remind her that I’d love a little scratch around my ears or cheeks. I guess that you already noticed that I’m handsomely debonair with my striking Frank Sinatra blue eyes and whimsical tabby stripes that embellish my face, forearms, and forelegs. Foster Meowmy first noticed me as someone’s obviously lost or abandoned pet who was trying to fend for food among a colony of community cats at an apartment complex. My friendliness distinguished me as she watched the resident children playing with me. So she wasted no time in picking me up and bringing me to the safe haven of her home. Boy howdy! Was I ever relieved to kiss good-bye to the hardscrabble life of a stray as it was not for me! I made friends easily with her resident cats, who have become my playmates as we romp and chase each other around the house. Now I’m ready to bring my winsome friendliness and deep devotion for both hoomans as well as other cats to my forever family. Could that be you? If you’re looking for a Mr. Congeniality who’s also bona fide eye candy, then I’m the boy for you! Arrange to meet me! I promise to double your joys and halve your sorrows! You haven’t lived until you've met an amiable Siamese kitty like me who truly loves to be around people of all ages. HOPE ID 26-0523-M042 Milo’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. To apply online: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site that Milo will be this weekend, email us at sfenicle1@gmail.com, and a volunteer will get back to you.
