Mist is a stunning 6-year-old Siamese cat with a calm spirit, a loving heart, and a story of resilience. After spending many months surviving as a stray in the harsh Texas heat, Mist is finally safe and ready to find the loving family she deserves. Little is known about Mist's life before she appeared around an apartment complex earlier this year. She was first noticed in January and relied on the kindness of neighbors for food and care. Despite the challenges of life outdoors, Mist remained friendly and trusting. When she was found, she had become quite thin from living outside, but thanks to dedicated caretakers, she has received the medical attention and nourishment she needed and is now thriving. Mist is the perfect companion for someone looking for a quiet, affectionate feline friend. She enjoys relaxing near her people and is happiest simply being part of the household. Whether you're reading a book, working from home, watching television, or gaming, Mist will happily keep you company. She has a peaceful presence and appreciates a comfortable spot where she can lounge while spending time with her favorite humans. After enduring life on the streets, Mist is ready to trade the uncertainty of outdoor living for the comfort and security of a forever home. She deserves a family that will cherish her for the sweet, gentle companion she is. If you're looking for a calm, loving cat to share your days with, Mist may be the perfect addition to your family. Mist has already been spayed, and has received a thorough veterinary workup and is up to date on her vaccinations. Recent bloodwork has been completed, and she is found to be of good health. She is currently being fostered in Houston but can be transported to any state and even Canada to the right home. To meet this sweet baby via facetime or whatsapp or other video app, please send an application available at https://form.jotform.com/241918441937161.

MEOWS FOR ATTENTION  DOB 1/1/26          Hey there, everyone! I’m Star, an outgoing, very talkative, and cuddly seal-point Siamese/ Snowshoe mix gal with four white mittens who luxuriates in Foster Meowmy’s attention. In fact, I crave her attention and will meow until get it! (What else do you expect with Siamese blood flowing through my veins?) I enjoy being Foster Meowmy’s bedfellow and am a well-behaved snuggler. A teenage boy rescued my siblings, Larry and Lucy, and me as four-month-old orphans in his neighborhood where a lot of houses are being torn down. Apparently people move out and leave their cats behind, and the kitties congregate nearby at the antique mall where Foster Meowmy has a booth. Our rescuer couldn’t keep us because his brother is allergic to cats, so he persuaded Foster Meowmy to take us home. I fit in beautifully with the resident and foster cats, with whom my siblings and I enjoy playing. Between the toys and the cat trees, I’m perfectly contented except I’d like a home with less competition for my hooman’s attention. Could that be yours? Then arrange to meet me! With my sweet disposition, I can boast that my heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU! HOPE ID 26-0712-G129 Star’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. To apply online: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site that Star will be this weekend, email us at sfenicle1@gmail.com, and a volunteer will get back to you.
