Story
Nigel is a wonderful and super smart kitty. He needs access to the outdoors because he really enjoys being outside and likes to go to the bathroom outside. He will let you know like a dog. He’s very doglike. He is talkative and affectionate but doesn’t like to be held. He loves his head being scratched! He will drool with pleasure and will head bump and nudge for more. He’d do best in a quiet and relaxed house. He’s low maintenance and independent but super loving too. Great, great personality! Would love to adopt him with our other kitty, Ozzy!

Story
Hi! My name is Wren. I came to RASKC as a stray and now I`m ready for a new home. I`m a very shy kitten who hasn`t had the best socialization so far. I`m still learning that humans aren`t scary. I`ll need a family who is patient and understands it will take time for me to become comfortable and more cuddly. Right now I just like being petted on my head. I am a gentle and loving cat who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might need some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

Story
Hi! My name is Blue and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on 04/17/24 and sent out to foster care for some socialization. My sibling and I are back now and ready for adoption!Henry is the short haired one, he has a soft purr, will come sleepnext to your legs, loves to chase strings, is not afraid to speak his mind when he wants attention :), and loves his brother Blue as comfort.Blue is the long haired one, he has a louder purr and will purr just seeing me. He loves action toys, eats treat from hand, when tired is a little limp noodle that loves smooches. His favorite pastime is wrestling with brother Henry. They can chase each other for a long time! It`s hard to let these two go. I almost foster failed with this batch. They are so stinking sweet.I hope they get adopted soon and don`tsit in a cage for long.

Story
My name is Lucy and I love to sit on your lap or right beside you to keep you company. I'm almost 15 years old and I've always been a bit grouchy - but never mean. Now that I'm an old lady I'm extra grouchy to any cat friends but after I've gotten used to their company dogs are just fine with me. I have developed a hyperactive thyroid in my old age, but it has been managed well with medicine morning and night. My human says the medicine isn't very expensive, so it shouldn't be a burden. As long as I have a scratching post, I don't scratch the furniture. I use my litter box and even tolerate when it isn't too tidy, even though I prefer it to be clean. My only other quirk is that I never learned how to groom myself because my sister always took care of it. So since she's not here my human has to do the job or I get matted pretty fast. My human is really sad that I need a new home, but I just can't be nice to the other cat's in the home.

Hello! My name is Sir Reginald. I am a ‘working cat' which means that I may not be suited for the life of a house cat, but I would love to have a job in exchange for care, food, and shelter. Adoption fees are waived for working cats like me!

Story
She lived in a big house with a big family and frequent visitors as well as another cat for 7 years. Now, she's been living alone in a small studio with me. Due to my busy schedule, she craves more human interaction. She needs a nicer home where she'll get more space to play and the attention she deserves. She's super playful, loves toys, and unconditionally enjoys cuddling and pets. She'll even sleep by your side once she trusts you. My #1 goal is to adopt her to someone who would NEVER put her in a shelter (i.e. readopt her if something happens), so here are the problems: She is almost 10, so she's showing signs of age. She is long-haired and sheds a LOT; it WILL get everywhere. Due to her long hair, she occasionally gets poop stuck in her butt and can't reach to clean it herself because of all the fur. It's very localized but can be gross since she enjoys sleeping on the bed with you. Regular grooming or hygiene cleans are essential (for your sake, she is unaffected by it).
