We love our dear Luna but we need to find her a good home to go to. Unfortunately, due to our young ones allergies, she can not be inside and we aren’t able to give her the time she needs. She deserves a happy hope that will be able to give her all the love and attention she deserves. She is a loving and energetic Pitsky mix. She has beautiful sky blue eyes that will melt your heart.

Story
Atticus is an incredibly smart, loving dog who thrives when he has structure, training, and someone who enjoys working with him. He is eager to learn and already knows many commands including sit, down, stay, place, wait, spin, roll over, touch, side, and search. We regularly practice impulse control drills, and he genuinely enjoys learning and working with his person. He loves enrichment activities, treats, and relaxing with his stuffed Kong. Atticus is an active dog who would do best with someone who enjoys training, mental stimulation, and giving their dog a routine. This is an extremely difficult decision for me. Due to an upcoming move and lack of support in my new living situation, I’m no longer able to provide the environment Atticus needs to continue thriving. I currently have about one week to find Atticus the right home before I will have to surrender him back to the SPCA. My goal is to place him in a great home before that happens.

Story
Akio is the ultimate velcro husky and has the fur to match. He will cling to you and be there to observe what you are doing every minute of the day. This boy does not mind sharing his bed with his humans and favorite children. He is an incredible cuddler and lives for affection. One of his favorite activities is getting all over belly rubs. He gets morning zoomies where he loves to run around the house, up the stairs and then back again. He will fill your mornings with fun and play, starting off your day on the right foot. Akio is moderate energy, which is nice in a husky. He enjoys short walks, couch time, brushing, fetch and tug of war. His favorite toys are rope toys and balls! Akio currently lives with children and does great with them. He is a very affectionate boy. We believe Akio would also be fine with other dogs with slow introductions. He is polite and respectful when he sees them out and about at the vet office or groomers. We are not sure how Akio would do with cats as he does not currently live with any. Akio is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for complimentary private and/or group training to help ensure a successful adoption. Story
Lulu is such a sweet sensitive soul who craves human closeness. She likes to be near her people, but is not overly cuddly or in your face. She’s absolutely wonderful with kids and would be great as a family pet. She understands basic commands such as “leave it”, “drop it”, “sit”, “come”, and “go potty outside”. She thrives off of positive reinforcement and is eager to learn. Everything piques her interest and while she doesn’t display anxiety behaviors, she tends to be more on the nervous side around new things (i.e., large bushes on the walks, Garbage trucks, Cars driving by). Since she has acclimated very well to my family, she’s having a harder time being separated now that she has decompressed from the shelter. We have noticed some separation anxiety develop and are working through that with consistency. She loves to play and be included, but is just as happy relaxing and taking a nap. She will not jump on the couch or go up the stairs, despite coaxing and reassurance that it is okay. Lulu does great around children and has met a few dogs and done well. Lulu has not met cats and she might be fine with them. Lulu is a shy, timid dog, and does well with positive reinforcement. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and chipped. All Better World Rescue dogs come with complimentary group or private training to ensure a successful adoption.
