This is Blue. He a larger pit bull/husky mix. He has a lot of energy and like to spend his energy outside. He’s been a real hassle to try to train. We’re only able to get him to do “Sit” and that’s about 50% of the times. He’s a bit older than one year old, with his birthday being in August. He can start to nip at people when he has a lot of energy and we haven’t been able to train him otherwise.

Story
We picked Paulie up from the SPCA in May 2023. Great dog with good character, knows basic commands like sit, down, paw, and stay. The situation is that he gets too excited around people and other pets. Also with our schedule there is not enough time to take him on enough walks. Unfortunately, after 2 and half years we will not be able to take care of him anymore. Please call if you would like more information or are interested in housing him.

Spencer was brought to our shelter on 12/11/25 after being found in Castro Valley. He hasn't been reclaimed by his previous person, so he's now looking for a new home! His adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable), plus the cost of his neuter surgery. Spencer qualifies for Fluffy Dog Friday - adopt him on a Friday and we'll waive his adoption fee! ☃️ His adoption fee is waived this month, but the adopter is responsible for the cost of his neuter surgery.
