Story
Roxie is a 9 yo female mixed breed (Pit and Boxer we think) smart with a sweet and loving disposition. She is very well trained (all the usual tricks, good recall, fetch, leash behavior, & lets you know her needs). She is healthy and up to date on all her vaccines. Long term care record with Claremont Vet. She LOVES people, & snuggles with her cat brother. I trust her with all children or any visitor. She is a good watch dog who will alert you to visitors. She does occasionally have a reactive aggression response if other dogs rush at her aggressively or enter her yard without warning. I generally walk her on leash in situations where there may be other more aggressive dogs (small or large). I run her off leash in appropriate situations otherwise. She needs a loving home that appreciates her intelligence and loving demeanor. Call me or e-mail for more details. Relocation dynamics are the reason she needs a new loving home.

Story
Atticus is an incredibly smart, loving dog who thrives when he has structure, training, and someone who enjoys working with him. He is eager to learn and already knows many commands including sit, down, stay, place, wait, spin, roll over, touch, side, and search. We regularly practice impulse control drills, and he genuinely enjoys learning and working with his person. He loves enrichment activities, treats, and relaxing with his stuffed Kong. Atticus is an active dog who would do best with someone who enjoys training, mental stimulation, and giving their dog a routine. This is an extremely difficult decision for me. Due to an upcoming move and lack of support in my new living situation, I’m no longer able to provide the environment Atticus needs to continue thriving. I currently have about one week to find Atticus the right home before I will have to surrender him back to the SPCA. My goal is to place him in a great home before that happens.

Meet Ginger – A Gentle Soul Searching for Her Forever Home Ginger is a sweet and loyal girl who has given her whole heart to her humans, only to find herself waiting for a family once again. At 10 years old, she deserves to spend her golden years surrounded by love, peace, and stability. Ginger's foster family love her. She is loyal to her folks. She will bark at someone at the door and makes it very clear she is there to make sure no one does anything to her people. In reality Ginger would rather hang out with her people. She bonds hard and loves unconditionally. She does need a family or person that is shepherd savvy.   Ginger is great with dog friendly dogs and in fact she can keep up with much younger dogs. Do not think because Ginger is a senior she is not capable. Ginger is able to jump into the back of a truck with no issues and can go on long walks with absolutely no issues.  Ginger is house-trained as well crate-trained, and she enjoys her walks, though she may pull a bit when excited. More than anything, she just wants a soft bed, gentle hands, and a family who will never let her go again. She would love to spend a rainy day laying on the bed cuddling or going on a road trip.  Senior dogs like Ginger have so much to give—they are wise, grateful, and deeply devoted.
