**Yeti is one of our longest residents and has been looking for a home for three years! Transport is available anywhere within continental US for serious adopters** Yeti is a snow monster with a heart filled with warmth and love. He was saved minutes before euthanasia. He has his own Youtube playlist where you can see him doing some agility and having fun with friends: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVb0fq1O6CwkPwbl5UZ1Q1gSW4eVZ_vL- He loves to run laps around his foster yard but yearns for his own forever. He loves to play, especially with his flirt pole, a pole with a toy attached by string but for dogs! He is one of those rare finds that is active and a couch potato. He engages heavily in self-play and does not require you to throw his toys around to have fun with them. Yeti is good with older kids, and absolutely basks in their affection. While Yeti is kind with all children, he is a bit too excited and jumpy for most small children. Yeti has made several dog friends in the past and played very well with all of them, but he needs very slow introductions. Unfortunately, when Yeti first meets other dogs he tends to be pretty reactive to them. He has improved tremendously with training but will need continued training in his forever home. Private and/or group training is available at no cost for local adopters. Yeti is a true love bug once he trusts you, everyday he greets his foster mom with a hug and kiss before she starts her work. At night and for meal times, Yeti is crate trained! He loves his crate as it is a safe haven, or his own personal den! He is very treat motivated and loves a peanut butter kong! Yeti has a sensitive stomach that requires him to drink water from a raised dish at room temperature in small amounts at a time. Otherwise, Yeti has a tendency to gulp down water too quickly and vomit it back up while running around. Yeti has a healthy appetite and does not otherwise vomit food. Yeti has been neutered, microchipped and is up to date on his vaccinations, bring this snow monster home to his forever family today

Story
Hi! My name is Digit, or Diggie as my foster mom calls me. She thinks all doggies should have names that end in a vowel. I am having a wonderful time in my foster home running around in the backyard, playing with the resident dogs, playing with toys. When I first arrived I jumped up constantly, I don't know why, but my foster person thinks I was always behind a fence and had to jump up for attention. I have learned not to jump up but rather to sit. When I sit I get the pets and love that I crave. I have also learned not to rush the back sliding door. When my foster person opens the door I sit, then I wait for her to tell me I can come in. When I come in I go straight to my crate because there is always food in it! I have come a long way in just a few weeks, from knowing anything, not even sit! - to now sitting instead of jumping (most of the time) and sitting and waiting for the command to come in the house. I am very good in my crate and I happily stay in there all night with no whining or barking. I've never soiled in the house (but my foster person keeps me close to her at all times in the house so I don't have the opportunity to make a mistake). My energy is boundless - I can play, play, play all day! I wear out the two resident dogs even though they are young and playful too. I would love to be part of an active family or person who runs, hikes, plays with me and with my toys. Although I don't have any experience yet, I think I might be quite good at sports like Frisbee or agility. I am very fast and nimble and love praise. I have been labeled a husky mix, which is almost certainly true as I have the telltale heterochromia (aka bi-colored) eyes - one is piercing blue, the other is amber. My gaze is striking and overall I am a very handsome pup! I may have some border collie too given my high activity level. And probably other breeds also. Maybe even some bunny rabbit as my dark fur is very soft, just like a bunny. I love people, I love other dogs, I love life! I am always happy! . Visit the link below to see Digit's playlist. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLlJtsBgIptcbLZrSjEGdMpvFWn1WT9W-0&si=KRlEvqDc1145XIGt Digit is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and chipped. All Better World Rescue dogs come with complimentary group or private training to ensure a successful adoption. Digit has not met cats or children but might do fine. Nieko is the rare find - a husky that can be secured! This sweet boy is crate trained and will not try to escape or destroy his crate! He chills very well while his foster mom is at work, and goes straight into his crate with no issues when cued. Nieko already knows sit and lay down. He is working on the "quiet" cue because he certainly likes to talk (in true husky fashion). Check out Nieko's video playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVb0fq1O6CwnPFLTh_TcjDLWhtFmpZgN3 Nieko is a sweetheart who is gentle when taking food and treats from your hand. He loves to have his belly rubbed by those he trusts. He also loves to run and play tag! His foster will slowly creep towards him and he gets so excited to play along in the game. Nieko is very treat motivated and very smart. He knows to sit before he leaves the crate and before he goes out the door to go outside. Nieko rarely barks outside, except to let his foster mom know that he is ready to go back inside. When inside, as stated he can be pretty talkative with everyone passing by. Nieko is a very attentive and sweet boy, but he will make you earn that trust and affection. He is an excellent walker on leash and is very sensitive to even the slight pressure by responding right away to follow you. Nieko currently lives with other dogs, and does well with them with slow introductions. Nieko is not currently recommended to live with cats. He is moderate energy and may be fine with older children. It is recommended to bring your children to meet him if you are interested in adoption. Nieko is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. All Better World Rescue dogs come with complimentary private and/or group training to help ensure a successful adoption. If you would like to meet Nieko to see if he is a good fit for your family, please fill out our short adoption application: www.betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application Upon receipt of your application, one of our passionate volunteers will call you within one business day to answer any questions and schedule a meet.

Koda is a debonair gentleman looking for an experienced home to make his own. Koda is a moderate energy husky mix who happens to resemble a fox. Koda loves to play and will do little zoomies when he is comfortable. Koda is still learning to trust new people and to be comfortable in new places, so would do best in a patient home. He is kennel trained and is working on his walking skills. Koda would love to be part of a family and does great in doggy play groups! He is very happy to play with most other dogs, but can get frustrated when the other dogs do not want to play too. All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for complimentary private and/or group training to help ensure a successful adoption. Koda is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. Shiloh is the perfect dog. she loves everyone, playful, sweet as can be. prefers to be loved on and cuddled She is the queen bee in her mind. She is a large dog so prefer no small children learning to walk as she will likely knock them down just because of how loving she is. She wants love, petting, belly rubs. very quiet dog. doesn't bark. will howl with other huskies when sirens go by. very dramatic dog as well.

Story
Hello there! My name is Coco—your soon-to-be best friend. I’m a playful, energetic girl who loves going on adventures. I love going for walks, playing fetch, and making new friends at the dog park—both big and small dogs love me! I haven’t lived with cats yet, but I get along with kids, especially older kids who understand my energy. I’m always happy to meet them! I do best with slightly older kids who can understand that I sometimes get excited. But don’t worry—I’m a friendly, affectionate girl who just needs a little supervision around young children because I might be too energetic for them. Last but not least, my favorite toys are squeaky–oh, they better be squeaky! If not, I’m not even taking a look at them–and bouncy balls. I love chasing them and can play fetch for hours if you’re down for it. I also love bones to chew on as it gives me pleasure feelings. Coco is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. If you would like to meet Coco to see if she is a good fit for your family, please fill out our short adoption application: www.betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application
