Pitsky puppies and dogs in Ridgewood, New Jersey

I adopted Prince last year. Prince is a very happy, active playful dog not to mention protective. The reason I am putting him up for adoption is because due to a change in my work life I can no longer allow for him to sit at home for so many hours alone I am looking for someone who has the time to spend with him the time to take him out, go for a long walks run around, play with other pets and enjoy his life.

Was my Mother’s Dog that she can’t care for anymore and I have been fostering him. I would keep him but I live with my parents and we already have a dog so they do not want another they are letting me foster him.

Crema is a 1-year, 4-month-old Husky/Pitbull mix with a big personality, lots of energy, and tons of potential. We rescued her from an SPCA, where she was listed as a Lab/Hound mix.Crema is friendly, affectionate, and loves playing with other dogs. She is incredibly smart, enjoys puzzle games, and learns quickly with consistent training. She has completed a board-and-train program, and we've continued working with her on basic training at home.Crema is also an athlete! She loves to run and has won awards competing in FastCAT 100-yard dash races. She would make a great companion for someone who enjoys running, hiking, or other outdoor activities. She has a high energy level and can have trouble settling when she hasn't had enough exercise. She would thrive in an active home with a large, securely fenced yard or other safe space to run. Another playful, dog-friendly dog could also be a great fit. She needs an owner who can provide plenty of exercise, training, and mental stimulation.

🐾 MEET KODIAK & YUKON — TWO BEAUTIFUL HUSKY BOYS LOOKING FOR THEIR FOREVER HOMES 🐾 Kodiak and Yukon are 2.5-year-old male Huskies, weighing approximately 50 lbs each. ❤️ And despite everything they have been through, these boys are still incredibly loving, happy and trusting. 💔 Their Story Kodiak and Yukon once had a home. They had a family, warm beds, proper food and people to love. Then their family moved — and simply left them behind. No food. No water. Just two dogs left in the Texas heat. For months, the boys remained at the property while kind neighbors provided them with food and water. But they were losing weight, losing their coats, and were covered in fleas and ticks. Eventually, animal control picked them up and they were taken to a high-kill shelter, where they were given the minimum 72-hour hold before euthanasia. Someone brought them to our attention, and thankfully, we were able to tag them and get them out the day before they were scheduled to die. 🙏❤️ They came into our care in early August and have been flourishing in their South Texas foster homes ever since. Their weight is slowly returning, their beautiful coats are growing back, and they have received the veterinary care they desperately needed. These boys are getting healthier and more handsome every day — and now they're ready for forever. 🐾 IMPORTANT: THEY ARE NOT BONDED Kodiak and Yukon do not need to be adopted together. They are both wonderful dogs who can thrive as the only dog in a home or alongside another compatible dog. ❤️ BOTH BOYS Both Kodiak and Yukon absolutely adore people. They love attention, affection and being petted. They will happily cuddle up beside you and nap for hours. There are cats in their foster home, and both boys can walk calmly past them on leash without showing interest. With proper introductions, supervision and patience, we believe either boy could potentially live happily with cats. Both boys are: 🐾 Great with other dogs 🐾 Leash trained 🐾 Crate trained 🐾 House trained 🐾 Very smart 🐾 Loving and affectionate 🐾 Ready to leave their past behind and become someone's best friend ________________________________________ 🩵 KODIAK Kodiak is the browner-and-whiter brother, although his coat is still growing back — so we're excited to see exactly how handsome his final coloring will be! Kodiak is a CHILL boy. 😍 He enjoys playing, but he's equally happy relaxing in the house and hanging out with his person. If you're sitting on the couch, don't be surprised if Kodiak decides that your lap — or even your entire body — is the perfect place to curl up. 😂❤️ He's incredibly affectionate and loves being close to his humans. Kodiak is crate trained and will paw at the kennel door when he needs to go outside. He's house trained and will go to the door when he needs to potty. And those ice-blue eyes! 🩵 When you look into Kodiak's eyes, you can see how happy he is to finally be safe. He's also a very intelligent boy who learns quickly. His ideal home would be with someone who has time to spend with him, enjoys walks and playtime, and preferably has a fenced yard where he can safely explore. Another dog to play with would be wonderful, but he would also be happy as your one-and-only. Kodiak is active, but he's more laid-back than his brother Yukon. ________________________________________ 🖤 YUKON Yukon is the more black-and-white of the brothers, and this boy is ready for ADVENTURE! 🏔️🐾 Yukon is active, athletic and loves to run and play. He has the cutest zoomies and would make an incredible hiking, running or adventure buddy. But once he's finished burning off that energy, Yukon comes looking for his human so he can get some love and affection. ❤️ He's leash trained and incredibly smart — he learns quickly. Yukon is crate trained and will howl and paw at the kennel door when he needs to go outside. He's house trained and will go to the door and paw at the floor when he needs to potty. His eyes are absolutely gorgeous. He has a slightly mischievous look that makes you think he's plotting something — but he's really just a sweet, happy boy. 😍 Yukon stands out for his intelligence, athleticism and playful personality. His perfect home would be with someone who wants an active companion and has time for walks, runs, adventures and lots of playtime. Another playful dog would be fantastic, whether that's a dog in the home, neighborhood friends or doggy daycare. A securely fenced yard where Yukon can safely do his famous Zoomies would be a huge bonus! ________________________________________ ❄️ THEIR DREAM And if their forever home happens to be somewhere that gets SNOW… Well, that would just be the icing on the cake. ❄️🐺❤️ These boys have already lost the home they knew once. They deserve a family who will never abandon them again. Kodiak and Yukon are ready for their happily ever after. They can be adopted separately or together. If you're interested in adopting one of these beautiful boys, please reach out to learn more about the adoption process and whether Kodiak or Yukon might be the perfect match for your family. 🐾 Kodiak — the chill, cuddly boy 🩵 🐾 Yukon — the adventurous, athletic boy 🖤 Two brothers. Two incredible personalities. Two second chances. ❤️ Yukon and Kodiak are both neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on de-wormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport. Yukon and Kodiak are both heart worm positive and have started their slow-kill heart worm treatment. They have undergone 30 days of doxycycline and each have received their 6-month pro-heart injection (this is a 6-month heart worm prevention injection). The only further care needed is to keep them on their heart worm prevention.
