Story
Maxwell is a handsome and affectionate 7-year-old German Shepherd who weighs about 80 pounds and has been fully vetted. He arrived at the shelter in October 2025 when his owner was arrested and Maxwell had nowhere else to go. Despite this tough start, Maxwell is a friendly and generous soul. He’s great with kids and absolutely LOVES to play Fetch—really, he ALWAYS wants to play ball. Maxwell is housebroken and walks nicely on a leash, making him a reliable and easygoing companion for daily adventures. He spent some time in a foster home where he was a perfect gentleman. Maxwell also gets along well with the other dogs he has met at the shelter. And his goofy, enthusiastic personality is sure to bring smiles to any family. Maxwell would thrive in an active home where daily exercise, playtime, and plenty of cuddles are part of the routine.
