Suki is a Husky we pulled from a Texas shelter where she was in danger of being euthanized. After arrival we discovered that she needed surgery for ingrown eyelids. We allowed her some time to settle into her new foster home before she underwent the surgery - which was a success! Now she’s all healed from her surgery and her beautiful eyes are wide open. Suki is about 59 lbs. We're unsure of Suki's exact age, and neither are the vets. She's estimated to be between 4 to 7 years old. Regardless of her age, she is energetic, loves her toys, and loves to play with her foster’s resident dog. Don’t get us wrong - she also loves to take naps in her bed so she can be sure to catch up on her beauty sleep. Suki is housebroken and doesn't require a crate. She’s walking nicely on a leash…unless she's distracted by a rabbit :) She gets along well with most dogs that she encounters on her walks. She knows the stay command. She has not been tested with cats. She loves to be loved up and will give you a thank you kiss (when you’ve earned it!). Sadly, Suki was bred too many times, resulting in some sensitivity in her belly and lower back. Consequently, she dislikes people touching these areas and prefers to initiate affection on her own terms. Due to this, we don't recommend young children to be around her, and she would be better suited to a household with older adopters. If you have experience with the breed, have patience, and lots of love to give, please consider giving Suki the forever home and family she so deserves. Suki is currently being fostered in NJ. SOS anyone know of a rescue that can rescue these puppies. Young man that has these three puppies he's facing eviction. His mother has cancer and is in hospice. He does not drive. He is facing eviction unless he gets rescue or homes for these puppies. He is trying to get back to Missouri. Camargo, Kentucky. Montgomery County. He has tried unsuccessfully for weeks to get the puppies into the shelter but they are not accepting because like most shelters they're full. Aspen's mum was brought into a rural shelter in TX very pregnant. She was hanging around some apartment complex, found a couch to lay on. The very next day after arriving at the shelter she had 3 puppies. Flora is the mum and she is a Siberian Husky who is the same colour as Aspen. The shelter she was at was full and there was a big plea to save her and her babies lives to which we answered. All the puppies are very sweet. Aspen is now ready for his home after being fixed, had all shots for his age and micro chipped. His breed is high energy so no apartments. A fenced in yard and buddy would be wonderful. We are based in the Nashville, TN area and have most of our dogs transported up north. The $450 includes the adoption and transport fee (will have a health certificate too). The transport fee is not refundable if things do not work out.
