Story
Suki is a Husky we pulled from a Texas shelter where she was in danger of being euthanized. After arrival we discovered that she needed surgery for ingrown eyelids. We allowed her some time to settle into her new foster home before she underwent the surgery - which was a success! Now she’s all healed from her surgery and her beautiful eyes are wide open. Suki is about 59 lbs. We're unsure of Suki's exact age, and neither are the vets. She's estimated to be between 4 to 7 years old. Regardless of her age, she is energetic, loves her toys, and loves to play with her foster’s resident dog. Don’t get us wrong - she also loves to take naps in her bed so she can be sure to catch up on her beauty sleep. Suki is housebroken and doesn't require a crate. She’s walking nicely on a leash…unless she's distracted by a rabbit :) She gets along well with most dogs that she encounters on her walks. She knows the stay command. She has not been tested with cats. She loves to be loved up and will give you a thank you kiss (when you’ve earned it!). Sadly, Suki was bred too many times, resulting in some sensitivity in her belly and lower back. Consequently, she dislikes people touching these areas and prefers to initiate affection on her own terms. Due to this, we don't recommend young children to be around her, and she would be better suited to a household with older adopters. If you have experience with the breed, have patience, and lots of love to give, please consider giving Suki the forever home and family she so deserves. Suki is currently being fostered in NJ and if you are approved to adopt, she is available for a meet and greet. Personality: playful, energetic Good with: people (older kids), and dogs.  Has not been cat tested yet. Training: housebroken, leash trained, knows some basic commands such as stay Estimated date of birth: 4-7 years old Weight: 59 pounds Medical: vetted, up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped Location: Currently located with a foster in NJ, and if you are approved, you can set up a meet and greet. Story
Zazu (female), and her siblings were picked up by a kind woman after their mom was hit by a car.  The puppies were just a few days old so she bottle fed them around the clock, kept them warm and safe and managed to save them.  Zazu is the littlest one of the litter, but don't let that fool you and she is the boss of the group.  She is small but feisty, as well as affectionate and playful. As of 10/18 they are estimated to be 7 weeks old.  They are believed to be husky mixes (a male husky roams around neighborhood) but their mother was small to medium sized.  By early December they will have received all 3 rounds of their puppy vaccinations and will be able to hop on our transport to come home to their forever homes in NJ. Personality: friendly, playful, feisty, affectionate, energetic Good with: people of all ages (including kids), dogs, and cats Training: unknown at this time Estimated date of birth: late August 2025 Estimated size when full grown: medium; maybe around 40 pounds Medical: vetted, receiving puppy vaccinations, microchipped Location: Currently located with a foster in Texas, but if adopted, will come to the NJ area on our next transport. Story
Coco is a 3.5 year-old  husky/lab or husky/shepherd mix.  She has the softest, most beautiful fur, and she'll let you pet her forever if you wish.   She: Is house trained  Doesn't like the crate and doesn't need it Will be perfect on the leash (with a bit more training) Loves playing with other dogs Enjoys playing with toys and loves to run after balls Knows the "drop it" command, and understands the command "go" (along with a finger point) if she's in your personal space Sleeps all night Is very affectionate and will quickly attach to you Is a perfect 50 pound lap dog - lol Is good in the car Doesn't love to be left alone at home, but if given a good treat before you leave she will calm down Will bark at strangers but will listen and calm down quickly Waits for a signal to go outside Is fully vetted, spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations Coco is doing wonderfully in foster and has come so far but she is a little bit of a work in progress.  She is a very intelligent dog, who needs some guidance to help her heal from her past.  She needs someone who sees that as a gift, not a burden, and who understands that her small "bad" habits, like jumping when excited, or wanting to share your food, are signs of a dog who never learned boundaries.   For the right person, these aren't problems; they're opportunities. With a patient, loving, positive attitude, Coco will further develop her confidence and calmness.  You'll be the one to show her what a stable, loving home feels like.  You'll be her anchor; and in return, she will give you an unbreakable loving bond. We think she will do best as an only dog or with a submissive, calm dog who will give her some space.  Please consider giving Coco her first real, forever home.  She's been waiting for someone just like you for so long. For more videos of Coco, check out her YouTube playlist:  https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLmB5-2QLmiJMhOycBDZZCcNLgGHhmQrqE Training: housebroken, knows some basic commands: sit, stay, come, leave it Will do best as an only dog (or in a household with a very submissive/calm dog) Estimated date of birth: December 2021 Weight: 50 pounds Medical: vetted, up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped Location: Currently with a foster in NJ, and once you are approved to adopt, is available for a meet and greet. Story
Meet Beautiful, Beautiful is three years old, she is a beautiful red and white Siberian Husky. Some of her hobbies include snuggles, kisses, playing with her furry friends. and going on walks. She is equal parts wiggles, fun and snuggles. And firmly believe every good walk ends with a cuddle (and maybe a snack) And if that isn’t enough, she is also crate and leash trained. You can’t find a better baby than that. Interested in adopting or fostering this sweet girl? Although she resides in Georgia, she would be happy to make her trip up north to find her forever home.
