Bruce is a 9-month-old GSD/Lab Mix who weighs 58 lbs. A friend of ours purchased him as the last of a litter at a flea market and gave him to us. He is up to date on vaccinations. Bruce is house trained & crate trained. He still needs some help with his leash training (he loves to walk, he just isn’t good at it.) He chases our cats but doesn’t hurt them. Bruce does get along with dogs EXCEPT one of our dogs. He hasn’t been exposed to children but he’s very rough and nippy so he would be a better fit in a home that had school aged children. The reason for surrender is our 4-year-old dog and him get along 90% of the time but the other times they can fight. I’ve broken up their fights and been bit during the altercation but he has NEVER just come after a human and bit someone other than normal puppy nipping. We have noticed some resource guarding with food and certain toys, but AGAIN ONLY with our one dog. He is a very sweet boy otherwise and silly. Bruce is NOT with 11th Hour Rescue but we are networking him for a more appropriate placement.
