Story
Hello all! This is Apollo. Apollo is the sweetest, most loving dog one could ask for. He thinks he's a lap dog (he's not). After getting him from the shelter a year ago, we've come to the unfortunate decision that we are not able to give him the amount of time or love that he deserves. We are trying to rehome him so that he can go to a family that has the time to spend with him that he really deserves. There will be a re-homing fee of $125. He will come with all of the food that we have for him, some of his toys (that he hasn't damaged too much. He's a little rough with toys), and a nice harness recommended by the trainer when we took him through the PetSmart Dog Training. To those of you who judge us for this decision, please understand that we aren't making decision lightly, and it has been made with a heavy heart, as we will miss him terribly, but he doesn't currently have the quality of life that he deserves.

Story
Meet KALLIE! She is a 4 ish year old German Shepherd Dog who weighs 56 pounds. She is friendly and does well with other dogs. Kallie is a bundle of energy and will need an active family who will exercise both mind and body daily. She is crate trained, knows some commands and walks well on a leash. KALLIE lived with 3 other dogs and they got along fine, but she does not share food well and will need to be fed separately (a good idea for most dogs). Unfortunately, KALLIE was mistreated in her previous home and had to be removed by the Sheriff. She hasn't lost her spirit and is very resilient. She gets a little anxious and needs to be handled gently and slowly at first until she gets comfortable. She is looking forward to getting a stable family and getting treated well. Adoption fee is $400 All Ashland County Humane Society animals' adoption fees include: ~spay/neuter ~micro-chip ~de-worming ~vaccinations, including rabies ~heartworm prevention If you are interested in adopting this dog, please visit: www.ashlandhumane.org/adoption-application (copy and paste link to address bar) for a printable application.
