Hello - Malcolm was adopted when he was about six months old in late 2015. We estimate that he is about 8-9 years old. He weighs about 68lbs. He was a steadfast companion to Stella, a pure bred GSD, whom he came home to live and play with until her death in 2020. He was also a steadfast companion to his human who passed away from cancer in January of 2024. Malcolm has been staying with me temporarily until a permanent home can be found for him. Malcolm is extremely loving. He does not require much maintenance except for being fed twice a day and let outside to use the restroom a few times a day. He likes walks and is good on a leash. He is also okay on his own in a yard as long as it is not too hot or cold. His ideal new home would be with someone who needs a companion and who can make the rest of his life enjoyable. He needs to feel needed. He is a wonderful emotional support dog. He could make a great companion to someone who simply needs someone to talk to.

Zeus is a German Shepard husky mix and he is almost 3 years old he is a great dog, not good with strangers at first but once he gets used to you he will love you. I wish I could keep him but my landlord doesnt want me to have him anymore. He is house trained, and crate trained. He just deserves a good home where he will be loved and I just can't give that to him right now.

Danny is currently at the prison for additional training. He will remain there at least 2 weeks before we will consider an adopter. He was a previous prison dog and recently returned to us through no fault of his own. Danny is about 50 lbs and will not get any bigger. He is good with other dogs, partially housetrained (we were told he would tinkle in the house on occasion), loves to play and run. He needs a fenced in yard or someone willing to stay outside with him otherwise he gets too curious and wanders. Danny is 18 months old and current on all vaccinations, neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Anyone wishing to meet him must call us to set up an appointment to do so at the prison. Meet Sadie. We just rescued her from a southern OH shelter where she was at risk of euthanasia. Sadie is a purebred white shepherd. She is 9 years old and about 70 lbs. She CANNOT be around any cats and should have a privacy fenced yard due to her prey drive. We were told she is dog friendly. Sadie seems to be hearing impaired but seems to hear high pitched sounds. She is spayed and all vaccines are up to date. Sadie is housebroken and crate trained. Looking for an adopter equipped to handle hearing impaired dogs. Sadie’s adoption fee is $175. Ruger is a GREAT dog. The sweetest boy. All he wants is love and his ball. It breaks our heart to have to be taking this step but we really think he deserves more and better. Ruger is an active boy and would do well with a fenced in yard, daily walks or runs and training (the fun kind). He’s a working dog and he wants to be busy. Smell training or seeking objects would be right up his alley. He is extremely smart and trains very easily. Very food motivated with training but even more toy (his ball) motivated. With a newborn and a toddler, I just do not have the time he deserves to devote to all of this and I want Ruger to have the best and happiest life possible. He would do best in a situation where his owner can provide an active environment. He is a purebred medium drive sable shepherd.
