Story
Meet Paloma!! She came in as a stray on 6/3/26. We think she is about a year old. She is finicky about anything around her neck so you just have to take it a little slow with her. She has beautiful blue eyes. She is on the smaller side for a husky. She can be mouthy when she is wound up and playing rough. For that reason, young children are not a good match for her. This breed is not for everyone so please do your research. She is available for adoption so hurry in to meet her! Paloma is located at the Richland County Dog Shelter in Mansfield, OH. Story
Nova is a beautiful girl with a gentle soul. She can be a little shy when meeting new people and new situations, so she needs a family that understands the importance of patience and letting her adjust at her own pace. Once she feels safe and comfortable, her sweet personality begins to shine. Nova enjoys quiet companionship and loves having a calm place where she can relax. As her confidence grows, so does her trust, and there's nothing more rewarding than watching her come out of her shell. The little moments—her happy tail wags, curious looks, and affectionate nudges—are well worth the wait. Nova is looking for a kind, patient home that will give her the time she needs to blossom. If you're willing to let her move at her own speed, you'll gain a loyal, loving companion who will fill your heart for years to come.

Story
Meet this beautiful 8-year-old Husky mix looking for her forever home! She loves daily walks and adventures but is just as happy relaxing with her people. Sweet, affectionate, and loyal, she thrives on human companionship and would do best in a home where someone is around often. She rarely barks, but true to her Husky nature, she loves to "sing" when she's excited about mealtime or a walk. She enjoys meeting other dogs on walks and at dog parks but needs to be the only dog in the home. She is house-trained, up to date on vaccinations, recently had a dental cleaning, and does well with older children. Sometimes she can get excited and jump up to greet people, a home without small children is preferred. If you're looking for a loving companion who will keep you smiling with her sweet personality and adorable singing, she may be the perfect fit for your family.

Story
Freddy is a 3 year-old male Husky mix. Freddy came in with his brother Draco, but he is not good with other animals and will need to be the only animal in his home. He loves his toys, and his playful spirit will keep you entertained for hours! Freddy walks very well on a leash, and even better on a harness! He likes going on walks, but he will need to stop you a couple times because petting him is more important than anything else. Freddy is a very simple dog who knows what he wants in life, spray cheese, blankets, and a loving home. He isn't very photogenic, but we swear he is even cuter in person. If you don't believe us come check him out yourself! Dogs are available to meet before their adoption date. The Dog Shelter's adoption fee is $64 (cash or check). All dogs come with DHPP and Bordetella vaccines, microchipped, a current year dog license, and a certificate to be spayed or neutered (The Dog Shelter pays for it). If it is an owner surrender dog, more vaccine information may be provided. Our hours are Monday thru Friday 10AM-12:30PM and 1PM-4PM and Saturdays 10AM to 2PM. You must be present to adopt and have a current approved adoption application.

Story
Draco is a 2 yr old Male Husky. He is very friendly. But does not do well with other animals. He was adopted and returned due to not being housebroken. Draco is probably one of the most affectionate dogs you will ever meet. He would need a home without other animals and would need training on the housebreaking and basic manners. Draco is the most affectionate boy there is, he will sit at your feet forever as long as you are rubbing his belly or rubbing his ears. He looks as if he is always smiling. Draco has 2 favorite squeaky pig toys that he likes to carry around. Come in and meet this handsome always smiling boy today. Dogs are available to meet before their adoption date.
