Meet Yuki!! He came in as a stray on 9/1/26. We think he is about 8 months old. Look at those blue eyes!! He is friendly and playful and he has tons of energy. He is still just a pup, so he will need you to teach him how to be a wonderful companion. He is available for adoption on 9/14/26 so hurry in to meet him! Yuki is located at the Richland County Dog Shelter in Mansfield, OH. Phone is 419-774-5892 It is an application process. You can request one via dogs@richlandcountyoh.gov

Freddy is a 3 year-old male Husky mix. Freddy came in with his brother Draco, but he is not good with other animals and will need to be the only animal in his home. He loves his toys, and his playful spirit will keep you entertained for hours! Freddy walks very well on a leash, and even better on a harness! He likes going on walks, but he will need to stop you a couple times because petting him is more important than anything else. Freddy is a very simple dog who knows what he wants in life, spray cheese, blankets, and a loving home. He isn't very photogenic, but we swear he is even cuter in person. If you don't believe us come check him out yourself! Dogs are available to meet before their adoption date. The Dog Shelter's adoption fee is $64 (cash or check). All dogs come with DHPP, Bordetella , microchipped, a 1 year rabies vaccine, heartworm checked, 40X, and a current 1 year dog license. If it is an owner surrender dog, more vaccine information may be provided. Our hours are Monday thru Friday 10AM-12:00PM and 1PM-4PM and Saturdays 10AM to 2PM. You must be present to adopt and have a current approved adoption application.

Draco is a 2 yr old Male Husky. He is very friendly. But does not do well with other animals. He was adopted and returned due to not being housebroken. Draco is probably one of the most affectionate dogs you will ever meet. He would need a home without other animals and would need training on the housebreaking and basic manners. Draco is the most affectionate boy there is, he will sit at your feet forever as long as you are rubbing his belly or rubbing his ears. He looks as if he is always smiling. Draco has 2 favorite squeaky pig toys that he likes to carry around. Come in and meet this handsome always smiling boy today. Dogs are available to meet before their adoption date. Katie is a 4-5 yr old mixed breed.  She is approximately 75 lbs but should not get any bigger. Katie is a proud female and will need to meet any other dogs in the home. She can be barky with new friends. We do not know how she is with cats or children.  Katie has already been spayed, wormed, tested negative for heartworm, vaccinated and is microchipped. They’re known for their beautiful coats, expressive faces, and fun, playful personalities. Bobo is hoping to find a loving home where he can get plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog.
