Story
Are you looking for a companion? Meet Fenrir (Fen/Fenny)! Young, fun, and affectionate, Fen loves long walks, sunbathing, tummy rubs, fetch, tug-of-war, and snuggling on the bed (he may snore and steal blankets). He knows basic commands, loves water (not baths), and is fully house- and crate-trained. Fen is nervous with new things and needs a pet-free home—no dogs or cats—where he can be the only animal. He’s healthy, fully vaccinated, DNA-tested, and cared for by Banfield in North Attleboro. Fen is deeply loved and needs a calm home that understands and embraces his quirks.

Story
Meet Sadie — Your Hilarious, High-Energy Adventure Buddy! Sadie is a healthy, 50-lb pitbull mix with a heart as big as her goofy grin. Estimated to be around 5–6 years old, she came to us as a rescue and has been making us laugh ever since. She adores people, loves other dogs, and would probably be fine with cats (though she hasn’t officially tested her feline diplomacy yet). Sadie is all about fun, enthusiasm, and movement — truly a bull-in-a-china-shop personality in the most endearing way. She LOVES going for walks and could make an amazing running buddy with some consistent training. She’s food-motivated, knows her basic commands, and responds beautifully to a choke collar during walks. That said, Sadie is not a couch-potato dog — she’s a lifestyle. When she gets excited, she may jump or play-nip. She sheds, she drools, she thinks furniture is fair game, and she will help herself to anything left on the counter (or in the trash… or your retainers). She’s also an enthusiastic “ba

Story
Karly is a wonderful dog! She's sweet, snuggly, playful and friendly with people and other animals (except, perhaps, for squirrels :-) She's 5 years old and about 50 lbs. She obeys sit, down, and shake. She's a little iffy on come, stay and not pulling on the leash, but she clearly knows what they mean. She does jump up when meeting people so that would need to be worked on. We've had to use a dog sedative pill for car rides but that may be because she's not used to them. She whines but doesn't bark. Her previous owner(our son's friend) developed a disability including some limitation with mobility, became unable to work and had to move to a place that doesn't allow pets. We took Karly in because the move was happening suddenly, but, unfortunately (we already love her!) we can't keep her because we travel a lot. In fact, when we agreed to take Karly we already had our next trip set up for Jan 23rd - Feb. 1st. Karly (named after Karlach) would be so happy to be YOUR dog.

Story
Adam is a 7 year old, male, Husky mixed breed. His face tells a story before he ever makes a sound. The scars across his muzzle hint at a rough life as a stray down South, yet his eyes are gentle and full of hope, and his tail still manages a soft wag whenever someone says hi to him. A medical workup is currently underway as we evaluate a possible leg fracture, and we expect to know more soon. None of this has dampened his spirit. He leans in for comfort, enjoys being near people, and seems genuinely grateful for every bit of kindness he receives. Staff and volunteers have fallen for him quickly, moved by his resilience and the softness beneath his weathered exterior. Adam’s past may have been difficult, but his heart remains wide open. He is ready for love, comfort, and a home that will treasure the gentle dog he has always been. Story
Meet Luna! This sweet girl was surrendered to us recently with her housemate Coco. They would be able to go home together or separately. From what the previous owners told us they got along well in their previous home. Her owners took very good care of her and Coco and loved them very much. She knows a lot of commands and is housetrained. This should make her transition into a new home pretty seamless. She is a very sweet, gentle girl who would love to find a soft place to land as soon as possible. She is small for a Shepherd mix and has lived in an apartment previously, so she won't need a lot of space to feel comfortable. Luna would be open to meeting your current dog or your children as well. Come make this lovely girl your new companion today! *If you can see me, I'm still available! We prefer initial adoption steps to be done via email, this way we can answer any time of day. We also prefer an application submitted before scheduling a visit, but it's not required, an email conversation is great! If you don't have access to email, no worries. Please call 401 680 7591. We differ from other shelters by offering a one-on-one experience between you, our staff and the animal or animals you've chosen to become a new family member! Please email pacadoptions@providenceri.gov or adoptions@friendsofpaccc.org *
