🐾 Adult Female German Shepherd Looking for the Right Home 🐾 I am looking to rehome my adult female German Shepherd to a loving, responsible, and committed home. She needs to be the only pet in the home. She has not been well socialized, so she can be nervous or unsure around new people and unfamiliar situations. Because of this, she needs someone who is patient and willing to give her the time she needs to build trust and feel comfortable. Any meet-and-greet would need to take place at my home, where she feels safest and can meet you gradually in a familiar environment. Her ideal home would be with someone who: • Has experience with German Shepherds or large working breeds • Is patient, calm, confident, and willing to work with her at her own pace • Has a home without other pets • Understands that trust may take time • Is willing to continue working on training and socialization She would likely benefit greatly from working with an experienced trainer not required though

Meet Tovy! Tovy is a polite and respectable senior dog but don't let that fool you - he's still a husky and that means that he's always up for a long walk and a good howling session. Tovy is friendly and affectionate with his people, though at times can be aloof with strangers, and he is a wonderfully fluffy pillow to snuggle with on the couch. Meet Firulais! This sweet boy is as big, floofy, and soft as you could imagine. Though "firulais" is generally an affectionate name for a mixed-breed or stray dog, this boy has always been a spoiled house pet with a family to dote on him. He's rather large for a husky at over 70 lbs, but he's got the typical husky howl and love for long walks. Though he's fully able to keep up with you on all your walks, hikes, and adventures, he's not an overly high energy dog and he's able to settle down and sleep the day away while his people are away at work. He's fully house trained and not destructive in the home - a perfect and adorable roommate! Firulais bonds deeply with his person and is a friendly and affectionate dog who loves to cuddle and snuggle up on the couch or bed. He likes to greet strangers when he runs into them on walks and might even give them an "awoooooo!" if they stop to say hello. That said, Firulais would do best in a home with only one person - he has previously shown some resource guarding behavior around his favorite person in the home. To set him up for success and a conflict-free life, we believe his ideal home would include just Firulais and a human to spoil and love him. Firulais is in our special adoption program which sets adopters and their new pets up for success with pre and post adoption counseling.
