Story
Her name is Gracie. I fostered her after seeing her post it on social media app as a stray that needed at home. She is beautiful, friendly and gets along well with my husky. However, she is very playful. needs to be properly train. I have no experience with this type of dog she is a little bit more than I can handle. I like to find someone that has more experience with this type of dog and would love to have her as a pet. She has been fixed and had her up-to-date shots.

Story
Buddy was previously cared for by our father who has recently passed away. Unfortunately, no one in the family nor any friends are able to take care of him. As we proceed to sell our fathers home, we need to find a new home for Buddy. He will need someone who is willing to train him as he likes to jump up on people and is not comfortable on a leash. Our father enjoyed Buddy's company and we hope Buddy is able to be someone else's buddy down the road.

Story
Bella is 4 years old, she is super energetic and loving. She needs a family that can meet her energy needs (walks, out for a run, play), has space for a big dog (backyard) and can provide her the love she deserves. She belongs to my sister who is suffering from health issues, I have kept her for the past 3 months but Im moving to a small apartment soon, they wont allow pets and I wouldn't want her to feel trapped in 4 walls when she's been used to running in a huge backyard. We want her to be happy.

Story
Sage is a sweet, affectionate, and playful dog with a big heart. She loves spending her days playing outside, cuddling up for naps, and being close to her people. Sage is wonderful with children and gets along well with both dogs and cats. She has experience around both large and small dogs and truly thrives on playtime and companionship. Sage was found abandoned near a river behind a friend’s home, and we took her in to give her safety and love while we search for the perfect forever family. She is full of joy and would bring so much love, fun, and warmth into any home.

Story
We got this dog as a pup to help a family out and we did the best we can to train her. Unfortunately we have toddlers so it takes away from the ability to keep her from destructive behaviors. She's very good with kids and loves to play with other dogs and cats. She's energetic but also can be snuggly. Kennel trained and partially leash trained. She's run out of the house a couple times but has never run away. She's still a puppy being about a year old so there's plenty of room for training. We just can't keep up with her. She needs a good home.

Story
Mocha is a handsome 16-month-old Husky with a wonderful balance of calm and fun. While he’s more easygoing than most Huskies, he still has a playful, goofy side that shines through and will keep you smiling. He loves to enjoy his zoomies and silly moments just as much as he enjoys relaxing and hanging out with his people. Mocha is sweet-natured, affectionate, and enjoys being part of the family. He’s well-mannered, friendly, and has a gentle personality that makes him a joy to be around. Whether he’s playing, being silly, or just laying nearby soaking up attention, Mocha brings happiness wherever he goes. If you’re looking for a Husky who’s the perfect mix of calm, playful, and lovable, Mocha could be your perfect match. 💙🐾 Mocha was only 4 months old when his former owner tried to give him away. We requested him to hold Mocha for a couple days while we were trying to find a foster home for him. But he was given away within a day to a person, who neglected him and mistreated him. Mocha was often found roaming the streets, looking for food and good Samaritans. Then at 15 months, he was found by one of our street feeders, all ribs and bones, and was brought to our rescue. Despite everything, Mocha is a super sweet, loving, trusting, happy boy and will make someone an amazing companion. Mocha is only 45 lb at this time, and is completely vaccinated and kept on heartworm and flea preventatives. He is neutered and chipped. Mocha is currently being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, even Canada to the right home. Mocha's adoption fee of $500 includes their vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, Harness and leash. To meet this gorgeous pup via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Yards, if any, must be adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences. Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them. Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible. So Thank you for choosing to rescue, and not go to a breeder.

Story
WINNING PERSONALITY  DOB 5/29/21, weight 38 lbs. Meet Mary Beth! This gorgeous girl is on the smaller size for a Husky, but what she lacks in size, she makes up for with her winning personality.  She is very sociable and seeks human attention. She is good with children, very gentle, and very affectionate (and gives face kisses).  She rarely barks or howls, and she is not a good guard dog for alerting to people at the door.  Mary Beth would do great living in a cold climate!   She is typically high energy and athletic, being both fast and agile.  She will play tag/wrestle-mania with her sibling brother Charles who is twice her size, which often becomes very animated.  She gets really excited when she sees her leash that signals physical trips outside, either a walk in the neighborhood or a trip to the dog park.  She does well at dog parks and is very socialized with other dogs. Just like her sibling brother Charles, she needs physical activity every day or she’ll become bored.  She is very smart and inquisitive. She loves to "help you" in the kitchen if it means a tasty treat for her.  She is an escape artist and needs tall and secure fencing. Mary Beth would be a great addition to a pet parent that is familiar with the Husky breed and is looking for a new family member. She has spent her whole life with her sibling brother Charles, but they do not have to be adopted together as long as she has another medium / large size dog in her life. HOPE ID D25-0517-0027 Mary Beth’s $200 adoption fee includes the spay, vaccines, microchip, negative heartworm test, negative fecal test, and monthly prevention for heartworms and fleas.  To apply online, go to: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php.  Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt from us but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site Mary Beth will be at this weekend, email us at lisagilchrist16@gmail.com and a volunteer will get back to you. GENTLE GIANT  DOB 5/29/21, weight 74 lbs. Meet Charles! This stunning boy is large for this breed but otherwise could be the Siberian Husky poster dog. He has a “woolie” coat and, like all Huskies, a double coat.  Charles would do great living in a cold climate!   Charles is very sociable and can be affectionate and seek human attention too. He is good with children, very gentle. He rarely barks or howls except when he hears sirens when outside.  He is basically low-energy and very calm for the breed.  He will play tag/wrestle-mania with his sibling sister, Mary Beth, which often becomes very animated.  Trips to the dog park, walks in the neighborhood and treats really excite Charles.  He needs some physical activity every day. If given the chance he will escape and needs tall and secure fencing. Charles would be a great addition to a pet parent that is familiar with the Husky breed and is looking for a new family member. He has spent his whole life with his sibling sister Mary Beth but they do not have to be adopted together as long as he has another large dog in his life. HOPE ID D25-0517-0028 Charles’s $200 adoption fee includes the neuter, vaccines, microchip, negative heartworm test, negative fecal test, and monthly prevention for heartworms and fleas.  To apply online, go to: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php.  Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt from us but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started.
