Over Mother's Day weekend my son passed away leaving his dog Eva without a home. Eva is senior Pitty. She is between 10 and 12 years old and he was the only owner she had she was given to him here in Austin by someone who did not want her anymore we think she was about a year and a half to two years old at that time. We did take her and get her up to date on her shots and the vet looked her over and said she was in good shape, she is heartworm negative, and her teeth look really good. We are currently located in Leander. We are asking for a $50 rehoming fee to make this sure she goes to a very good home. Eva would need to be the only dog in the home, I do not believe she would get along with cats and if there are any children in the home they need to be 10 and older. She loves belly rubs and absolutely loves to be around people. It would be great if she could be an inside dog she is potty trained scratches at the door or otherwise notifies you if she needs to go outside to potty.

Meet Jojo 🌟She is the funniest, silliest, most athletic little angel girl.I rescued her in LA at four months old. We recently lost her sister Rubi to lymphoma at just five years old, and I want to make sure Jojo gets everything she deserves. I've been caretaking Rubi for the past 5 years (chemo visits and all) and need to focus on me. Jojo needs a sister or brother, and I'm not in a place to get a new dog. She is SMART. Probably the smartest dog I have ever met. 🧠She is ATHLETIC. This girl needs to move! Running, walking, playing fetch. A yard would be her dream. 🏃‍♀️She is PLAYFUL but alpha about her toys. She does best with a calm, submissive dog. 👑She loves snacks, bones, and sleeping by your feet at the end of the day. 🦴She loves LIFE. We adopted Juno in 2024. My wife and I (we were friends at the time) walked into the shelter after we saw Juno on their Instagram page and instantly fell in love with her energy. Her shelter name was Snuggles, and she lived up to it! Juno is an incredibly affectionate pup with so much love to give. Her cuddles are assertive, and all she could ever want is the approval of her closest people.Over the years, Juno has been exposed to a number of challenges socially, such as cats and her pup-sis (pictured above), but her guarding instinct takes over occasionally around resources she considers vital, such as food(!!) and my wife. In those moments, she enters a trance where we must intervene or she will get into fights with other dogs. We were successful at establishing boundaries with our cats, but dogs have been a persistent issue throughout our time with her; this has led to an undesirable routine at our home. We believe she would be much happier in a household where she is the only dog.
