Story
Winston is a Pit-Lab mix that we rescued back in 2019. We think he is around 7 years old and is full of energy. He is a very loving dog and very smart but we can’t give him the attention he needs and deserves. We recently welcomed our first baby and Winston has become much more of a handful than we can manage now. He gets bored easily and tends to get mischievous without attention. He was initially wary of our newborn but has grown accustom to the baby as it has grown. While he has been our baby for the past 7 years we need to do what is best for him. Generally, Winston is great with adults, older kids, and other dogs, but he is not good with cats and is initially wary of babies. Winston needs an owner who is able to spend the time to exercise and socialize him on a regular basis. He loves running, hiking, playing fetch & snuggles on the couch. He has been an amazing member of our family and we hope to find his forever home!

Story
She-ra is lovely dog that I adopted from the Austin Humane Society last year. She is affectionate, playful, funny, house and kennel trained, and knows basic commands such as sit, shake, lay down. Now for the hard part: She-ra is severely allergic to grass, has Boxer Colitis, and a possible protein allergy as well. Her grass allergy means she is always, always itchy. Her colitis is currently managed, but may require occasional antibiotics if she experiences a flare, and for the protein allergy she eats an exclusive hydrolyzed kibble and vegetarian treats. I am a single teacher and while I love this little dog with my entire heart, her care is a doozy on me financially and I just want her to go to a loving home with someone with the means to care for her and not back to the shelter if I can help it.

Story
He’s sweet dog once he feels comfortable around people. We have 4 kids ranging from 4-13 years old and trust him completely around all of them. Due to no socialization during Covid, he has high anxiety around new people and animals, and can bark and get aggressive. He needs to be introduced slowly and carefully to new people. Should NOT go to a house with young kids who would try to approach him before he is comfortable.He follows directions, is house trained, and is a great dog for our family but we don’t have the time to train him or exercise him properly. He needs a home that has time for his energy and doesn’t have an environment that introduces new people and animals regularly or is easily able to keep him controlled entire time. Must be strong enough to handle him on walks as he cannot contain his energy at the outset. Does the fun husky howls, definitely sweet once he accepts you as his pack.Will provide all food/crate/toys and transferable lifetime Bark Buster trainer access!
