He is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves being close to his people. He enjoys gentle petting, cuddles, and simply spending time near his person. He forms strong bonds with his humans and finds comfort in their presence. He enjoys daily walks and playtime, but he also has a calm side and settles nicely at home. He does best with a consistent routine and regular human interaction, where he feels secure and cared for. He prefers not to be left alone for long periods and thrives in a home where he receives attention, patience, and structure. He responds best to calm, positive guidance and gentle handling. He is a people-friendly dog who is not aggressive toward humans and does very well when his emotional and companionship needs are met. With the right home, he will be a loving and loyal companion.

Story
Karma is a great dog! Walks without a leash and excellent recall. I tried to take her, but work has ramped up and I just can't take her on. My house is too small to have 2 dogs indoors. I have 2 cats and she gets along with everyone. It breaks my heart. I've been in her life since she was a pup. She was my daughter's dog but she had to move to smaller place so I thought to try and give Karma a home. But its just not fair to her. She like the privacy of a crate to sleep in and is house trained.

Story
Honey is a sweet dog who was found abandoned and malnourished. Since being in our care, she has made great progress and is now on a consistent feeding schedule and daily walk routine. She is crate-trained and follows a regular potty schedule. Honey is gentle and loving and truly just needs a patient, caring home where she can continue to thrive. We have kept her separate from our own dogs, so we’re not completely sure how she does with other dogs. However, she was previously living in a home with two other dogs, and there were no signs of aggression reported. She deserves a safe, loving forever home and someone willing to give her the care and affection she’s been missing. If you feel Honey might be your doggy soulmate, please don’t hesitate to reach out — serious and loving inquiries only.

Story
If you are interested in Ricky, please contact dogs@lostdogrescue.org. Meet Ricky, a 2-year-old Siberian Husky who runs on sunshine, curiosity, and pure joy. He’s stunningly handsome (yes, people stop to ask about him), confident, and incredibly friendly with dogs and people alike. Bikes, joggers, squirrels, loud trucks? No big deal—Ricky stays focused and ready for whatever adventure is next. This guy is perpetual motion in the best way. He walks at a brisk, purposeful pace; loves to run; and somehow also knows when it’s time to slow down. An active home is a must—bonus points if there’s a fenced yard or plenty of opportunities for running, ball throwing, or long hikes. Ricky is smart, treat-motivated, and eager. He’s working on basic commands, and with consistency (and toys for redirection), he will shine. He has a playful, goofy side that pops out unexpectedly—especially if a squeaky toy is involved. Fair warning: If he sees it, he will grab it! Tug toys and tennis balls are his jam and are great for channeling his energy. He’s also very dog-social and would love a playful dog sibling to romp around with. This handsome fellow is a friendly, high-energy, big-hearted husky with a fantastic disposition. He’s ready for an active family who wants a running partner, an adventure buddy, and a very handsome sidekick. If you’re looking for a dog who’s always up for one more mile, Ricky is your guy!
