Story
Nick is a gentle giant with a whole lot of love tucked into his big, handsome frame. He’s sweet, a little shy at first, and incredibly affectionate once he feels safe. If you walk into a room and sit on the floor, Nick won’t hesitate—he’ll make a beeline straight for your lap, complete with enthusiastic headbutts to say hello. Nick enjoys lounging in the cubby of his cat tree, surveying the room from above, watching out the window, and keeping an eye on outside activities. He likes wand toys but he’d much rather relax in your lap and soak up all your attention. Nick, along with his littermates Kevin and Popeye, was adopted from our rescue as small kittens and sadly returned over two years later. Since coming back into foster care, he has shown that he has no behavioral or medical issues—just a tender heart that needed a little time to adjust. It might take him a couple of days, but treats (and his love of affection) quickly will win him over. Now he’s happily seeking out cuddles and lap time. Nick is looking for a forever home where he never has to worry about losing his person again. Although he would love if he could be adopted with his brother Kevin, he can go as a single kitty. If you’re searching for a devoted lap kitty with a gentle soul, Nick just might be your perfect match.   MUST FOLLOW APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: 1) Go to  https://www.kittenrescue101.org/adopt/available-cats and Click "adopt" on the cat's profile you are interested in. Ares is a stunning orange tabby, and Zeus is a gorgeous flame point Siamese. They are gentle, friendly, and affectionate boys who love spending time on a catio, gazing outside, and quietly enjoying life together. They’ve been inseparable since kittenhood and would love nothing more than to be adopted together. They are truly wonderful cats—loving, well-mannered, and yes, according to the vet “overweight” (rude… we prefer big-boned and extra lovable). Almost three years ago, Ares and Zeus were adopted as tiny kittens (formally Peaches & Cream), full of hope and promise. They had already endured a tough time as little kittens from Stockton before they got to rescue. Now, through no fault of their own, these sweet boys are once again looking for a family to call home. All they want is a family who will love them, and love them back, for the rest of their lives. Could that be you? I’m a handsome brown tabby with a playful spirit and a soft, sweet side. I love to run, wrestle, and chase toys until I’m all tuckered out—then I’m happiest curled up close, soaking in the love.
