Story
Meet Bella – A Sweet Senior Looking for Her Next Forever Home  Bella is a beautiful 12-year-old orange tabby with a heart as warm as her golden coat. She was lovingly bottle-raised, and it shows—she has a delightfully silly personality and enjoys being close to her people. She can be a little shy when meeting someone new, but give her a little time and she'll reward you with affection, gentle companionship, and plenty of purrs. Bella loves treats, adores being brushed and pampered, and happily soaks up attention. (Just don't expect her to be impressed by catnip—it's never been her thing!) Bella is searching for a new family because her beloved owner is terminally ill and wants nothing more than to know she will be safe, loved, and cherished. Finding Bella a wonderful home would give her owner tremendous peace of mind during this difficult time. If you're looking for a sweet, gentle companion with a playful streak and lots of love to give, Bella may be the perfect addition to your family. Bella at a glance: 12-year-old female orange tabby Lovingly bottle-raised Sweet, affectionate, and delightfully silly Shy at first, but warms up quickly Loves being groomed and doted on Treat enthusiast Not interested in catnip Looking for a quiet, loving forever home Could you be the person who gives Bella the happy next chapter she deserves? * * * * * Adoption Application here All adoptions include: spay/neuter, FVRCP vaccination (core feline vaccine), rabies vaccination (if old enough), FIV/FeLV test, deworming, microchipping, an initial complimentary veterinary examination at a specified veterinary practice. Story
Meet Rod the Tripod  Rod is an estimated 5-year-old gentleman with a sleek black coat, bright eyes, and a spirit that simply refuses to quit. Rod’s story began at the Riverside County shelter, where he arrived with a severely broken ankle. The shelter director personally transported him to an orthopedic surgeon to give him the very best chance possible. After evaluation, the surgeon determined that amputation was the kindest and most comfortable option. Rod handled it all with remarkable resilience. Now fully recovered from surgery, Rod is learning life on three legs — and honestly, he seems to think he’s still got four. He plays, explores, follows his people around, and greets each day with obvious joy. His missing leg has not slowed him down one bit. His luxurious black fur is even beginning to grow back over his surgery site. Along the way, we also discovered that Rod is feline leukemia (FeLV) positive. His follow-up testing suggests he will likely remain positive long term, which means he needs a home where he can be the only cat, or potentially with other FeLV-positive cats under appropriate guidance. What Rod lacks in a missing leg, he makes up for in affection. He adores wet nose kisses, gentle “love nibbles,” and quality cuddle time with his humans. His favorite treat in the entire world is a Churu stick, and he will happily supervise snack time with great enthusiasm. Rod is attentive, loving, and deeply connected to the people he trusts. He is the kind of companion who wants to be part of your everyday life. Rod has already survived pain, surgery, and uncertainty. What he wants now is simple: a safe home, soft places to nap, snacks to enjoy, and someone to love.   * * * * * Adoption Application here All adoptions include: spay/neuter, FVRCP vaccination (core feline vaccine), rabies vaccination (if old enough), FIV/FeLV test, deworming, microchipping, an initial complimentary veterinary examination at a specified veterinary practice. Story
Peach & Blueberry are two very special sisters. They were born with Manx syndrome, so they can't walk normally with their hind legs, but that doesn't stop them from being happy, playful, and cuddly kittens.  Their beautiful eyes and true interest in being with you spark a joy and love in your heart like no other.  Taking care of them brings the satisfying gift of caring for others, a truly selfless love.  They need some extra care - helping them express their bladders and bathing them. But they are relaxed and patient, knowing they are receiving the care they need. They are currently receiving acupuncture, physical therapy, and walking exercises to help them improve their functional ability as much as possible while they are developing -- and they are improving!!! We do not doubt that someone out there who has experience with Manx kitty companionship and can't live without it will find this adoption listing and be ready to welcome the girls to their lives with open arms.  * * * * * Adoption Application here All adoptions include: spay/neuter, FVRCP vaccination (core feline vaccine), rabies vaccination (if old enough), FIV/FeLV test, deworming, microchipping, an initial complimentary veterinary examination at a specified veterinary practice.
