Story
Meet Roddie, a sweet 5-year-old gentleman currently in our care while he recovers from a hind-leg amputation. He’ll be with us for about two weeks, focusing on healing, rest, and lots of TLC.   We are deeply grateful to Riverside County Department of Animal Services and Director Mary Martin for ensuring Roddie received the medical care he needed—care that has also helped so many other animals facing serious injuries and surgeries.   Now comes the hopeful part. Let’s help this very special three-legged boy find his perfect match this Valentine’s Day . With a little luck, Roddie’s recovery will end with something even better than healing: a loving home of his own to go to when he’s ready . * * * * * Adoption Application here All adoptions include: spay/neuter, FVRCP vaccination (core feline vaccine), rabies vaccination (if old enough), FIV/FeLV test, deworming, microchipping, an initial complimentary veterinary examination at a specified veterinary practice. To help support our mission, we suggest a  donation of: - Kittens  1 year                      $89 - Adult    1 year - 10 years       $75 - Senior 10 years+                    $0 REQUIREMENTS: Unless specifically indicated, INDOOR pets only and NO declawing - all of our cats and kittens use a variety of scratching posts and other scratching devices. Please note, we often get multiple applications for the same cat or kitten. Unless there are over-riding constraints or requirements, e.g., one of a bonded pair, we always give priority to the order in which we receive a completed application (first qualified, first served). ForeverMeow is a 501(c)(3) non-profit cat rescue, registered with the California State Attorney General. ForeverMeow is a certified adoption partner of: Riverside County Department of Animal Services, Petco Foundation, and a Best Friends Network Partner.       Nearly all of our cats & kittens are rescued from Coachella Valley shelters, or to avoid them from entering the shelter. Since 2012, we have rescued over 2,000 cats and kittens.    March 7, 2026, 12:03 pm

Story
Peach & Blueberry are two very special sisters. They were born with Manx syndrome, so they can't walk normally with their hind legs, but that doesn't stop them from being happy, playful, and cuddly kittens.  Their beautiful eyes and true interest in being with you spark a joy and love in your heart like no other.  Taking care of them brings the satisfying gift of caring for others, a truly selfless love.  They need some extra care - helping them express their bladders and bathing them. But they are relaxed and patient, knowing they are receiving the care they need. They are currently receiving acupuncture, physical therapy, and walking exercises to help them improve their functional ability as much as possible while they are developing -- and they are improving!!! We do not doubt that someone out there who has experience with Manx kitty companionship and can't live without it will find this adoption listing and be ready to welcome the girls to their lives with open arms.  * * * * * Adoption Application here All adoptions include: spay/neuter, FVRCP vaccination (core feline vaccine), rabies vaccination (if old enough), FIV/FeLV test, deworming, microchipping, an initial complimentary veterinary examination at a specified veterinary practice. Story
Meet Katy Perry – A Little Survivor with a Big Heart  Katy Perry is a 4-month-old tortoiseshell kitten with the sweetest personality and a surprisingly big old soul. She loves to cuddle, nuzzle, and wrap you in a kitten hug, but don’t let the sweetness fool you — she will also run and play like a tiny maniac when it’s playtime. Katy’s life started with a tremendous challenge. She was brought to the county shelter with both hind legs broken (femur fractures) and a luxated hip. Fortunately, she was one of the lucky ones who was evaluated by an orthopedic surgeon. Because her fractures had already begun healing, surgery would have required re-breaking the bones, so the best treatment was strict crate rest while the bones healed naturally. Today, Katy has made an incredible recovery. She has full, normal use of her legs, and you would never know she had such a difficult start. She runs, jumps, plays, and cuddles like any happy kitten her age. Katy Perry is now healthy, resilient, and ready for her forever home — a family who will appreciate her affectionate nature and the remarkable spirit of this little survivor. If you’re looking for a kitten who will fill your home with love, personality, and playfulness, Katy might be the perfect match.  Ready to meet Katy Perry and give her the loving home she deserves?   * * * * * Adoption Application here All adoptions include: spay/neuter, FVRCP vaccination (core feline vaccine), rabies vaccination (if old enough), FIV/FeLV test, deworming, microchipping, an initial complimentary veterinary examination at a specified veterinary practice.
