PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! STUART and his siblings (SKY & SAWYER) was saved by an independent rescuer. They came from a mom at a colony in the area South Los Angeles, California. Once the kittens were stable, the rescuer reached out to us. And now they are with our rescue. He is now ready for his FUREVER home! Meet STUART, a teen with a heart full of adventure. STUART is a curious soul, always on the lookout for new mysteries to unravel. His playful antics are a source of endless amusement, yet he has a mellow side that loves quiet moments. STUART is a smart big fellow, often surprising us with his problem-solving skills. He can be a bit shy at first, but don't let that fool you STUART's braver than most. His independent streak is balanced by his goofy charm, making him the perfect companion. STUART's skittish nature just adds to his appeal, as it's a joy to watch him slowly gain confidence. Why should you adopt STUART? Because his unique blend of traits promises a journey full of laughter, love, and learning. STUART is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TABBY MIX. He is about 1 year and 3 months old. He is good with cats and is non-reactive to dogs. He has never been around children. STUART is currently located at our rescue in Hemet, California. SEPTEMBER 2025 PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. VIOLET VAN HELSING, her moms (SCARETT and VANESSA VAN HELSING) and her siblings (AXEL MILLER and JACK & DYLAN VAN HELSING) were saved by the Rescue Mama. So one day while on Facebook, Rescue Mama saw that there were 2 very young cats living in a back yard. Long story short, we rescued the girls and right before their vet appointment they had kittens. We are not sure which kittens belong to which mom because they were born in the middle of the night and both sisters nursed them. So now the babies are fully vetted and ready for their FUREVER homes. Meet VIOLET VAN HELSING! If you're looking for a lap cat, a cuddle buddy, and a best friend all in one, look no further than VIOLET VAN HELSING. This gentle and sensitive girl is the most snuggly of her group, and she's ready to lavish her endless affection on a devoted human. All she wants is to be as close to you as possible, whether she's nuzzled against your neck at night or stretched out beside you in bed with her soft belly exposed for rubs. Her capacity for love is immense, and she connects quickly and deeply with people. VIOLET VAN HELSING's love language is physical affection. You'll hear her signature, rumbling purr the moment your eyes meet, and she'll rub all over you with loving headbutts and gentle pawing to ask for more pets. When she's overcome with joy, she might even greet you by climbing your jeans to get into your arms for a happy hug. This little shadow will follow you everywhere, always keeping a watchful eye on you from wherever she is in the room. She even has a special, charming habit of perching on your shoulder or back while you're busy with chores like scooping the litter box. Despite her affectionate nature, VIOLET VAN HELSING is a gentle soul who is a little wary of new noises and animals. She gets intimidated by strong or dominant cat personalities, so she would do best in a calm home environment where she can be the center of her human's attention. She may need a bit of time to relax and feel safe in a new space, but once she does, her loving and playful personality will shine through. VIOLET VAN HELSING enjoys a good play session, whether she's chasing after crinkle balls or tackling a wand toy. VIOLET VAN HELSING isn't just looking for a home; she's looking for her human. She's a sweet, gentle spirit who will reward your patience with unwavering loyalty and an abundance of hugs and cuddles. Her love is a gift, and for the right person, it's a gift that will keep on giving. VIOLET VAN HELSING is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / MACKEREL TABBY MIX. She is about 5 months old. She is good with cats, children and dogs. JACK VAN HELSING is currently at a foster home in North Hollywood, California. ******We do not do adoptions of any kitten under 8 months, if there is no other cat in the home. It must be a young cat. OCTOBER 2025 PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. HENRIETTA "HEN" WILSON and her 2 siblings (ROBERT "BOBBY" NASH - HOWIE "CHIMMENY" HAN) were saved from a hoarding case in Watts, California. They were all barley surviving. We named all the cats that were saved from that place after the characters in the show 911. HENRIETTA "HEN" WILSON is a sweet and serene Mackerel Tabby cat who has captured the hearts of everyone she meets. Her journey began in an unlikely place—a drug rehab facility in Watts, California—where she and her siblings were found as tiny, sickly kittens. Despite the odds stacked against them, HENRIETTA "HEN" WILSON and her siblings were nursed back to health, and HENRIETTA "HEN" WILSON quickly proved herself to be a survivor, emerging from her difficult beginnings with a calm and loving demeanor that would define her for the rest of her life. HENRIETTA "HEN" WILSON, is the picture of chill. She’s the kind of cat who prefers lounging on your lap for hours, gently purring away as she soaks up all the pets and attention. While she does enjoy playtime on occasion, her true passion is simply being near her human companions. Whether it’s curling up next to you on the couch, stretching out in a sunbeam, or peacefully coexisting with her feline siblings, HEN is a laid-back spirit who just wants to be part of the family. Her easygoing nature extends to her relationships with other cats as well—HENRIETTA "HEN" WILSON gets along with every feline she meets, proving that her friendly disposition is as limitless as her love. She’s not one to claim a single spot, but she does have a preference for lap time, effortlessly finding her place as a comforting presence in any room. HENRIETTA "HEN" WILSON's story is one of resilience and healing, and her gentle soul is a reminder of the power of kindness and care. Though she’s come a long way from her rough beginnings, she’s never forgotten how much love can change a life. Now, she spends her days in quiet joy, a constant reminder of the unconditional love that a rescue pet can give. HENRIETTA "HEN" WILSON’s journey from a sick kitten in a rehab center to the sweet lap cat she is today is a testament to the strength of the human-animal bond and the healing power of patience, care, and a warm lap. Story
Xena has a special story, making her way in life, not receiving the care and understanding she needed. She originally belonged to a family with a busy home with children. She was not spayed by the family. She was allowed to go in and out of the house (despite the dangers of outdoor life). Of course, she turned up pregnant and birthed her 4 kittens in the home. When the kittens were 4 weeks old, the family ejected her and 3 of her babies onto the lawn in the middle of summer with no protection, because the babies were still learning to use the litter box, and they didn't want to tolerate this phase. Xena and kittens were fostered together until the kittens were old enough to get spayed and neutered and have all found homes.  Mama Xena is also scheduled to be spayed.  It is now her turn to find a home that will love her unconditionally. We think she's had a hard life, and enjoys the comforts of being in a home receiving love and companionship from people. She shows no interest in returning to a life of running around outside. Xena is a delightful, curious, calm, and affectionate cat. Please complete the link below to be contacted to schedule a meet and greet.   * * * * * Adoption Application here All adoptions include: spay/neuter, FVRCP vaccination (core feline vaccine), rabies vaccination (if old enough), FIV/FeLV test, deworming, microchipping, an initial complimentary veterinary examination at a specified veterinary practice. To help support our mission, we suggest a  donation of: - Kittens  1 year                      $89 - Adult    1 year - 10 years       $75 - Senior 10 years+                    $0 REQUIREMENTS: Unless specifically indicated, INDOOR pets only and NO declawing - all of our cats and kittens use a variety of scratching posts and other scratching devices. Please note, we often get multiple applications for the same cat or kitten. Unless there are over-riding constraints or requirements, e.g., one of a bonded pair, we always give priority to the order in which we receive a completed application (first qualified, first served). ForeverMeow is a 501(c)(3) non-profit cat rescue, registered with the California State Attorney General. ForeverMeow is a certified adoption partner of: Riverside County Department of Animal Services, Petco Foundation, and a Best Friends Network Partner.       Nearly all of our cats & kittens are rescued from Coachella Valley shelters, or to avoid them from entering the shelter. Since 2012, we have rescued over 2,000 cats and kittens.    September 6, 2025, 6:18 pm
