Story
(bonded group of 3 ) imie is a sweet female cat born on September 22, 2020. I adopted her from a shelter in Reno, Nevada on November 29, 2020, and she has been part of my family ever since. Imie has a gentle and sensitive personality. She can be a little fearful at first and may take some time to warm up to new people, but once she feels safe her sweet and loving nature really shines through. She has a lot of life in her and enjoys playing, especially when she feels comfortable in her environment. Imie is incredibly affectionate with the people she trusts and has a soft, loving personality. She has grown up with two other cats in the home and they are very bonded, so I am looking for a home that can adopt all three of them together so they can stay as a family. This is a very difficult decision for me, and my biggest hope is to find a patient and loving home that will give them the care, stability, and love they deserve. 🐾

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! STUART and his siblings (SKY & SAWYER) was saved by an independent rescuer. They came from a mom at a colony in the area South Los Angeles, California. Once the kittens were stable, the rescuer reached out to us. And now they are with our rescue. He is now ready for his FUREVER home! Meet STUART, a teen with a heart full of adventure. STUART is a curious soul, always on the lookout for new mysteries to unravel. His playful antics are a source of endless amusement, yet he has a mellow side that loves quiet moments. STUART is a smart big fellow, often surprising us with his problem-solving skills. He can be a bit shy at first, but don't let that fool you STUART's braver than most. His independent streak is balanced by his goofy charm, making him the perfect companion. STUART's skittish nature just adds to his appeal, as it's a joy to watch him slowly gain confidence. Why should you adopt STUART? Because his unique blend of traits promises a journey full of laughter, love, and learning. STUART is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TABBY MIX. He is about 1 year and 3 months old. He is good with cats and is non-reactive to dogs. He has never been around children. STUART is currently located at our rescue in Hemet, California. FEBUARY 2026 PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. GARFIELD and his 3 siblings (ODIE and JINX) were part of a huge TNR effort in El Monte, California. The group TNRed all the adult cats and rescued moms and kittens. We were asked to find them good homes. So they went with one of our fosters. Meet GARFIELD: The Resilient, Shy Orange Tabby Ready for His Forever Home! GARFIELD is a sweet, shy orange tabby with a heart full of potential. He was part of a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) project in El Monte, where he was rescued after living as a stray. He had a rough start in life, struggling with illness, but his resilience and strength have carried him through. Now, he’s ready to leave his past behind and find a loving, patient home where he can truly thrive. About Garfield: Breed: Orange Tabby Personality: Shy, Playful, Resilient, Social Likes: Playing, Other Cats, Observing, Soft Blankets Dislikes: Fast movements, being overwhelmed Special Needs: Needs a quiet, calm home with time and patience to adjust Garfield may be a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—he has so much love and potential to give. Once he feels comfortable in a space, he opens up with the cutest bursts of energy, especially when it’s time to play. Garfield LOVES playing with toys, and his playful side shines through when he’s feeling safe and secure. He also has a special fondness for other cats, and would likely do well in a home with fellow feline friends who can help him feel more confident. Garfield has a bit of a cautious nature, especially when encountering new people or situations. But this sweet boy has come a long way from the sick, scared stray he once was, and with patience, he’ll continue to blossom into the affectionate and loyal companion we know he can be. What Garfield Needs: A patient adopter who understands his shy nature and can give him time to adjust. A calm, quiet environment where Garfield feels safe and can take things at his own pace. A home with other cats would be ideal, as Garfield enjoys the company of his fellow felines. Gentle handling and a soft, consistent routine to help him build trust and confidence. Time, understanding, and a willingness to let him come to you on his terms. Why Adopt Garfield? GARFIELD may be shy at first, but he has a world of potential to be someone’s best friend. He’s come a long way from his difficult beginnings, and with the right environment and patient adopter, GARFIELD will make a wonderful companion. His love for playing, his affection for other cats, and his resilient spirit show that, given the chance, GARFIELD will bring joy and comfort to any home. If you’re ready to give GARFIELD the safe and loving home he deserves, he’s waiting to meet you. With time, patience, and love, GARFIELD will become the best friend you’ve always wanted. Adopt Garfield Today! If you have the time and understanding to help GARFIELD reach his full potential, don’t wait—reach out to us today and learn more about how you can make this sweet boy a part of your family. GARFIELD may be shy, but once he trusts you, he’ll reward you with a bond like no other. Are you the one to give him his forever home? GARFIELD is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TABBY MIX. He is about 1 year and 10 months old. He is good with cats and non-reactive to with dogs. He has never been around children. He will be good with another cat or by himself. Story
Meet Roddie, a sweet 5-year-old gentleman currently in our care while he recovers from a hind-leg amputation. He’ll be with us for about two weeks, focusing on healing, rest, and lots of TLC.   We are deeply grateful to Riverside County Department of Animal Services and Director Mary Martin for ensuring Roddie received the medical care he needed—care that has also helped so many other animals facing serious injuries and surgeries.   Now comes the hopeful part. Let’s help this very special three-legged boy find his perfect match this Valentine’s Day . With a little luck, Roddie’s recovery will end with something even better than healing: a loving home of his own to go to when he’s ready . * * * * * Adoption Application here All adoptions include: spay/neuter, FVRCP vaccination (core feline vaccine), rabies vaccination (if old enough), FIV/FeLV test, deworming, microchipping, an initial complimentary veterinary examination at a specified veterinary practice. To help support our mission, we suggest a  donation of: - Kittens  1 year                      $89 - Adult    1 year - 10 years       $75 - Senior 10 years+                    $0 REQUIREMENTS: Unless specifically indicated, INDOOR pets only and NO declawing - all of our cats and kittens use a variety of scratching posts and other scratching devices. Please note, we often get multiple applications for the same cat or kitten. Unless there are over-riding constraints or requirements, e.g., one of a bonded pair, we always give priority to the order in which we receive a completed application (first qualified, first served). ForeverMeow is a 501(c)(3) non-profit cat rescue, registered with the California State Attorney General. ForeverMeow is a certified adoption partner of: Riverside County Department of Animal Services, Petco Foundation, and a Best Friends Network Partner.       Nearly all of our cats & kittens are rescued from Coachella Valley shelters, or to avoid them from entering the shelter. Since 2012, we have rescued over 2,000 cats and kittens.    March 7, 2026, 12:03 pm
