Story
I’ve had her since she was a kitten. The place that we are moving into we can’t keep her and our 1 year old developed allergies. She is a very quiet, independent cat who shows affection. Once she is warmed up she has will give the best cuddles. She is very tolerant with children. We love her and really want someone who will love her just as much.

Story
Layla is extremely sweet and friendly. She will be your new best friend! At 11 years old she is young at heart and loves to play, being petted, snuggling on someone’s lap, and “making biscuits”! She is so vocal and loves attention. She goes silly with catnip! She enjoys finding interesting places to lay, like a box, basket, or bag. She loves treats and toys, especially playing “cat & mouse”! She is spayed and strictly an indoor cat. She will come with a cat carrier, automatic cat feeder, litter box, and fresh bag of food.

Story
Meet Mr Brody! He was living outside of an apartment complex and was definitely someone's pet but apparently was thrown out or abandoned. He is a very handsome boy and very sweet but would be best as an only child. He has been neutered, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and is negative for feline leukemia and AIDS. If interested in him or any of our Castaway cats, please fill out our application at Castaway catsde.com

Story
Ray is a very sweet boy who we found abandon outside of a apartment complex we fix and feed a lot of cats at. Hungry and unneutered, we knew he deserved better than to have to live outside, so we brought him in. He is now neutered, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and is negative for feline leukemia and aids. He's a handsome boy who seems to be okay around other cats just maybe a little intimidated at first but would probably also be good as an only child.. We believe Robbie maybe his brother , because we got him around the same time.

Story
Poor Veronica was living on the streets behind a shopping center , trying to survive with her three kittens. She was being fed by a few people , and they threw a bed out there for her , but this was their new life for her and her babies. A concerned person called us to help , and we went out and got her in her babies and brought her in. She is now so happy to be inside and so are they! We had her spayed, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and is negative for feline leukemia and aids. Now she just needs to fatten up some and find her forever home!

Story
Wilson is a very sweet, gentle boy who was abandoned by his owners when they moved out :( Poor boy was found cowering behind a building across the street from our fosters, sneaking over to try to get some food they put out for some strays in the area. They saw how scared and hungry he was and befriended him to come closer so they could bring him inside. He is now inside, safe and warm and very happy and has been neutered, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and is negative for feline leukemia and FIV. He is very playful and is fine with other cats and ok with their dogs (still not sure yet). Story
Robbie is a very sweet but shy boy that was living outside of an apartment complex along with a bunch of other stray cats. We're trying to help them the best we can by bringing them in and getting them spayed or neutered, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and tested for feline leukemia and aids (which they are negative). We believe Ray is Robbie's brother and would be a good pair if you are looking for a pair. Or Gracie who he is rooming with right now in a very small bathroom , unfortunately, what deserves so much more room and attention! Can you give them a better life? They would so much appreciate it!

Story
Hadley and a bunch of other cats were living in a drug house and when the owner died, the landlord was going to throw all of the cats outside in the cold. We got a call and were able to get them before he did this. They have now all been spayed or neutered, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. Now they are all ready for adoption and very sweet and loving! If you are interested in any of our castaway cats, please fill out our application at castawaycatsde.com

Story
ABOUT CHRISTMAS CHILI AND MISS KRAMPUS! Meet Christmas Chili and Miss Krampus, our pretty mamas! These two came to HAP at separate times, both strays with kittens in tow and both upset at being caged. After a few months of medication and socialization and not much progress, we decided to put the two ladies in a room together, as a last ditch effort. They immediately took to each other and have been inseperatable ever since! Now with each others support and comfort, they two have started to enjoy human attention a little more! Christmas Chili is the more outgoing of the two, she enjoys chirping and booping her human friends, once she gets used to them! Miss Krampus is more on the shy side, though she does enjoy playing with her human friends, as long as they keep their distance! *Christmas Chili and Miss Krampus both adore other cats! We don't recommend they go to a home with dogs or children.

ABOUT CALLIE! Meet Callie, our beautiful lady! This sweet lady was brought in as a stray, so we don't know much about her past. What we do know is that's a sweet lady! Callie can be shy at first, but once she warms up, she's a real lover girl! Callie enjoys the slow paced life; a nap in the sun, a yummy treat, a window to look out of. She isn't much of a player, but she enjoys her catnip! *Callie does not get along well with other cats, so she'll need to be the only one in the home. We don't recommend dogs or young children, as she can be nervous with noise and activity.

Story
ABOUT MISSY! Meet Missy, our big and beautiful lady! This sassy girl came to HAP as a stray, so we don't know much about her past, aside from the fact that she had clearly been eating well! Because this new change of scenery was such a big change, she had a rough time settling in. Some days she still seems to have some serious complaints! Missy is a strong, independent woman, through and through! She knows what she wants and knows how to get it, usually by yelling at us. She can be a little swatty at times, usually just when we're shooing her back in her cage. When we aren't trying to make her do something, she's a real sweetie! She enjoys hanging out with her human friends, sometimes at a distance, sometimes right on them! *Missy is pretty hit or miss with other cats, but we think she'd probably be fine to coexist with one. We aren't sure how she'd do with dogs, but she's done okay with older children. *If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
