Story
I’ve had this sweet girl for a little over 2 years now. I adopted her from a shelter and became her first and only owner. She is about 3 1/2 years old. Trinity is one of the sweetest and goofiest cats I’ve ever met. She is full of personality and is sure to keep any cat owner entertained. Trinity is not big on being picked up or held but LOVES cuddling up if you have a cozy blanket over your lap. She has a playful & sassy personality, and is able to keep herself entertained with the right toys. I’m heartbroken to have to rehome her, but unfortunately I am moving in a couple months and cannot take her with me. She has lived in a home with another cat and medium-sized dog with no issues! I’m hoping to find her a forever home as she has so much love to give <3

Story
Blondie is very sweet and affectionate with humans. She likes nothing better than falling asleep on your lap. Unfortunately, she is terrible with other cats. She needs to be a single house cat only. My other cats are experiencing behavioral problems due to her aggression towards them. I do not want to surrender her to a kill shelter, she has too much love to give to the right person, so long as she is the only cat in the house. She is missing her top teeth. Therefore, she is partial to wet food. Don't eat a steak or a hamburger patty around her, unless you are prepared to share!

Story
ABOUT MORNING Morning is about 5 years old and came to HAP when his owners could no longer keep him. Understandably, after living in a home, he had some reservations and nerves in the shelter. Morning has since opened up to our staff, proving to be the snuggliest boy. He craves attention and affection from his human friends now. When he's not curled up in his cozy bed, he can usually be found exploring our playroom and watching the birds. Morning usually prefers self-play and enjoys his 'me time'. He loves to bat around puff balls or shiny toys the most. Morning is sure to let you know when he wants something, with a sweet meow. He has met other cats and does not have a lot of patience for them, so a home without other cats is preferable. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.

ABOUT FREEDOM Freedom is a sweet lady who will follow you around and meow for love. She is 1.5 years old and was abandoned at HAP. Despite this, she has remained affectionate and being pet and snuggled are some of her favorite things! When spooked or if she thinks you're ignoring her, she may show her spicy side but is quick to calm down after being reassured. She doesn't mind other cats that want to coexist but prefers if they do their own thing rather than interacting with her. This pretty girl loves to play; interactive toys are her absolute favorite. Come meet our lovely Freedom and find out if she's the right fit for you! If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Story
ABOUT MONICA! Meet Monica, our beautiful six-year-old girl! This little lady came to HAP as a stray momma. All her babies have found their homes, and now it's Monica's turn! Monica spent a little bit of time in a foster home during our Stanton renovation, and here's what her foster family had to say about her: "Monica currently doesn't live with any other animals, but loves every person who comes into our home. She is a huge snuggle bug and loves pets. She has random crazy spurts of energy and will do zoomies around the house, then come crawl in your lap when she's worn out. I've never met a cat with so much personality, she's such a loving little goofball. I love that she will do her own thing when I'm working from home and doesn't scream for attention, but will also come snuggle on the couch at the end of the night. I've found she prefers to snuggle when you have a blanket on top of you. One of my favorite things about her is when you put your face right up to hers, she'll rub up against your face and give you forehead licks. She also sticks her tongue out at you sometimes. I truly can't say enough great things about her!" *Monica is seeking a home as your only cat. Monica would likely do okay with a calm dog and children who can respect her boundaries! **Monica has been diagnosed with very early-stage kidney disease. While this can shorten her lifespan, we have no reason to believe she doesn't have many, many more years left in her! She is currently being treated with a special diet and managed by yearly vet visits. If you are interested in adopting Monica, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. ABOUT CARNITAS Life would be oh so boring without a little spice...don't you agree? Allow us to kick up the heat with HAP's resident spicy girl herself, Carnitas! This little lady is the definition of "Queen of the castle!" She much prefers solitary life with humans, therefore would do best as the single queen pet in a home. She can regularly be found lounging in our playroom, watching the birds outside. She loves catnip toys and will roll around with one in her paws until she's ready for a snooze. Carnitas enjoys head scratches and she's not afraid to let you know when she's had enough! She likes to follow our staff around, supervising our work. She will even remind us when we haven't provided her with treats, because after all...her wish is our command! If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Story
“Hello! My name is KELLY! I’m one of the special-needs pets up for adoption at CompAnimals. I am living with FIV. I am only 6 years old and have a long and wonderful life ahead of me but I should be the only cat or with another FIV cat. Other than that, I am purr-fect! I was living with a nice family who loved me very much but their living situation changed so I came here. Please pass the word that I am looking for a home for the holidays. Thank you & meow!” Kelly is approx 6 years old and has been spayed & vaccinated. She was overwhelmed at first when arriving in our cat room where she resides in a separate cage. She has settled in now and is quite friendly but will need adequate time to decompress in her new home. Adoption $25. Please fill out an application at www.companimals.org to make Kelly part of your family. May 2, 2024, 2:18 pm

Story
"Hey, there I'm Wyatt. My friend and I were found on an Amish farm a few months back and taken in after they didn't want us. The rescue checked me over for any diseases (all clear!), neutered me and made sure my shots were up to date. My friend has already been adopted and I'm still looking for my forever home. My foster family calls me exotic in looks and personality, with a beautiful pink tinted coat and warm eyes. Though I can be cautious around new people at first, I promise I warm up quickly once I feel comfortable! I'm less than a year old, so I'm just getting the hang of this whole, friends with people thing, but I love other cats. I'd love to be adopted with one of my shelter friends, but could go to a home as long as there is another kitty to help me feel secure. Will you help me grow into the cuddly and confident boy I know I can be?" + + + To meet and give this sweet Wyatt a loving home, please fill out an adoption form here: https://forms.gle/AWVB9aXUrFY2CaPA7. Story
KITTLES is an approximately 8 yr old kitty who was brought to us for not getting along with other cats in the house. Indeed, Kittles does have catitude! He would do best as an only cat but could coexist with friendly dogs. Kittles is very social and greets our volunteers and guests but he does have a short attention span for hands-on attention and will swat you when he feels you have crossed the line. Kittles will be a great companion for someone who wants a friend to talk to but not snuggle up with. Kittles is neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for leukemia/FIV. Adoption $75. Please fill out an application at www.CompAnimals.org if you have room in your heart and your home for Kittles &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143May 2, 2024, 2:18 pm

"Hey there, I'm Goldie! My foster family says I'm a real charmer. I might keep my space at first, but really, I'm just checking you out! Though I'm a bit shy, I'll still follow you all around - I want to be friends so badly! I'm just still getting used to people. Story
"Hey there, I'm Sunny, a funny little guy. I was trapped in Chester, PA, and my tail was injured. The rescue took me in, neutered me, gave me all my shots, made sure I wasn't sick (all clear) and got me the tail treatment I needed. After having surgery, I was left with my cute little bobtail, so I'm basically one of those fancy Manx kitties now. Now that I'm all better, I'm on the hunt for my forever home and forever friends! I love people and kitties and purr right away when you meet me, ready to play and get up to kitten shenanigans. I would love to go to a household with other young kitty friends for me to play with, or to go home with one of my shelter buds! Hope I can meet you soon!" + + + To give Sunny a loving home, please fill out an adoption form here: https://forms.gle/AWVB9aXUrFY2CaPA7.
