Story
Meet Cheddar! Cheddar was abandoned in a hotel room in May of 2022, despite multiple attempts to reach the people who left him, the hotel was never able to get in contact with them. He was found cuddled up under the blankets when housekeeping came in to clean the room, with no food dish or litter box. Understandably, this sweet boy was extremely stressed after that experience, and was rather tense and tended to lash out. After a few weeks he calmed down and has since been sweet and snuggly. Cheddar is a very lazy boy who spends most of his time snuggled up to a person or lounging in a window watching the birds. He isn't the biggest fan of dogs or other cats, but he does tolerate them. This big boy has been through quite a lot, and deserves a calm quiet home full of love, toys, and laps to snuggle up in.

Story
Meet Aspen! Aspen was transferred to TKW on 11/02/2023 from another shelter that was overrun with kittens. He arrived with his brother, Hawthorn, and sister, Juniper. While Juniper was quickly adopted, Aspen and Hawthorn has been with us ever since. Aspen was diagnosed with an autoimmune skin condition on 3/20/24 but has not had a flare up in over a year, and does not require daily medication. He is just as easy as your normal kitty! Aspen is a sweet, playful boy with an addiction to churu, while not particularly snuggly, he does enjoy being pet, and he is rarely seen far away from his brother Hawthorn. He has a silky smooth coat and absolutely gorgeous green eyes, hes our best model! While these boys are over a year old now, they both still have that kitten energy and love to wrestle and run around, they are both easy going and low maintenance.

Story
Background: Mosaic was a outdoor feral cat at a relatives house, once we relocated to Kentucky in 2020, we got to helping with TNR for this relatives outdoor cats. Unfortunately, Mosaic gave birth to her first litter of kittens prematurely at just 7 months old, three days before her spay appointment, where she promptly rejected them, and we were unable to save them. Since then she was been an indoor cat, and she has slowly opened up to where we no longer consider her feral, and just shy or semi-feral. Bio: Mosaic is sweet but very timid, if you can get her to come to you for attention, she will purr and roll around as you pet her, however she does not like to be approached. She's a great conversationalist and loves to talk to you, and if you're lucky she'll hop up on the couch and lay next to you at a respectful distance. i believe given time, she may become more friendly, however it isn't something i would count on. Her and Summer get along great, and i believe they would be a great match given their similar personalities. She is not good with dogs, but does like other cats. Visual Description and Medical Info: Mosaic is a white cat with a dilute calico tail, she has a heart tattoo in her ear from being spayed at Nelson County Humane society on 6/2/2020, she needs her shots updated and this will be done before any adoption. We have not wanted to stress her with the vet visit however it it more than past time. Her estimated Birthday is 11/28/2019.
