She enjoys affection and human interaction, and she’ll let you know when she’s had enough with a gentle, respectful hiss. Iris is an independent cat who thrives with people who understand feline boundaries.She has done well greeting nearby cats, though she has never lived with another one. For homes with resident cats, we recommend a two‑week shutdown period to support a smooth introduction.
