Story
Clover is a friendly, curious, and spirited cat looking for a new home. Her favorite past times include playing with wand toys (and making adorable chirping noises while she does so), gazing out the window, and getting her soft fur brushed. She loves eating wet food, especially pate, and has excellent litter box skills. She’s currently looking for a new home because my other cat would prefer to be an only child, but in her previous home, Clover coexisted with both cats and dogs. I think she would do well with another cat that is playful and social. Clover can play a bit rough at times so would probably do best in a family with older children. She likes to meet new people and would love to find a home where she can let her sweet and adaptable personality shine!2 years, 5 months oldUp-to-date on her rabies and FVRCP vaccinesThe $25 fee will be donated to Clover’s alumni, the MDSPCA.

Story
She is such a sweet, loving girl with a really fun personality. She is very outgoing and friendly and loves being around people. She’ll come right up to you for pets, sit beside you just to be close, and loves to cuddle. She is also silly, quirky, curious, and adventurous. She loves exploring and being part of whatever is going on around her. She currently lives with her sibling cats and gets along well with them.I would absolutely keep her if I could, but unfortunately my son has severe allergies, so I need to find her a loving new home. I’m hoping to find someone who will give her lots of attention, affection, and a safe forever home where she can really be part of the family.

Story
Simba is such a sweet, easygoing guy and just a really nice cat to have around. He loves playing with wand toys and other cat toys, but he also has a very calm side and is perfectly happy laying nearby, relaxing, and watching everything going on around him.He is cuddly, affectionate, and enjoys being close to his people without needing to be the center of attention all the time. He gets along well with his cat siblings and is used to being around other cats.Simba is the kind of cat who just fits into the family. He’s playful when it’s time to play, cuddly when it’s time to relax, and overall just a cool, sweet companion to have around the house. I’d love to find him a home where he can be loved, comfortable, and truly part of the family.

Story
Iris is a 2‑year‑old tabby who may be small in size but has a big personality. She enjoys affection and human interaction, and she’ll let you know when she’s had enough with a gentle, respectful hiss. Iris is an independent cat who thrives with people who understand feline boundaries. She has done well greeting nearby cats, though she has never lived with another one. For homes with resident cats, we recommend a two‑week shutdown period to support a smooth introduction. Due to her occasional sassiness, Iris would do best with children 12 and older and in a home without dogs, as she has no prior experience living with them.Iris is looking for a patient, understanding adopter who appreciates a confident cat with a strong sense of self. This pet is Free for Adoption during the month of August as part of Clear the SheltersPlease note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Story
Meet Ghastly — a three‑month‑old kitten with a tender heart and a cautious spirit who’s slowly learning that people can be safe. He came in with his siblings, all of whom were extremely fearful. While his littermates chose the barn cat life, Ghastly has shown us little glimmers of bravery that tell a different story for him. He’s still shy and unsure, but every day he takes another small step forward. Food is his biggest motivator, and with patience, quiet moments, and gentle consistency, he’ll creep closer and show you that he does want connection — he just needs time to feel secure. He’s the kind of kitten who won’t be ready for cuddles right away, and that’s okay. He’s learning at his own pace, and he needs someone who understands that trust is something he’ll build slowly.Because of his age, Ghastly is comfortable around other cats and has been fine with dogs who are calm and respectful. Kids over 8 who can give him space and let him come to them would be a good fit.Ghastly is looking for a patient, understanding home — someone who can see past his fear and recognize the sweet, curious kitten underneath. With time, stability, and kindness, he’ll blossom into the companion he’s trying so hard to become.Ghastly's adoption fee is $25, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption. Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations.
