Story
Simba was taken in off of the street in October of 2025 and is about 1 year old. We got him microchipped, vaccinated and neutered- He is loving and loves lots of attention and to play. He likes to be held, but only when he wants- otherwise he just deals with it. He is very good with house training and is pretty vocal when he wants to be. Unfortunately he has FIV and we can’t risk him with our other cats and really wish we could. He is super loving and needs a caring home. He is great with dogs, he does take some time to get used to puppy’s and more rambunctious dogs but our calmer older dog and him got along from day 1

Story
Etta Mommy came to us from a feral colony, and her gentle, sweet nature made it impossible to send her back. She’s the proud mother of two adorable kittens who arrived just a few days before her, and she’s been showing them all the love and care a mama cat can give.Etta is an older girl, but don’t let her age fool you — she still has plenty of affection, cuddles, and warm companionship to offer. She’s learning what a safe, cozy indoor life can be like, and each day she’s discovering just how wonderful it feels to relax, play, and enjoy life without worry. This sweet mama would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can continue to learn and blossom at her own pace. Etta Mommy is ready to share her heart with someone patient and kind, rewarding them with her soft purrs and gentle affection.Etta Mommy's adoption fee is $25, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet! Story
Meet Mint TulipMint Tulip is a 6‑month‑old kitten with a soft heart and a tender spirit. She came to us as part of a group of kittens — all of whom have since been adopted — and now she’s the last little one still waiting for her person. Shelter life is overwhelming for her, and she’s hoping someone patient and kind will help her feel safe again.Mint Tulip is not a “pick me up and cuddle me” kind of cat. Right now, the world feels big and scary, and she needs someone who understands that trust takes time. What she is ready for is a quiet home, a gentle routine, and a person who won’t give up on her. With steady love and consistency, she has every chance to blossom into a confident, comfortable companion.Because of her shyness, Mint Tulip is not a match for homes with children. Another friendly, calm cat in the home would be a wonderful support for her — she finds comfort in feline company and may open up more easily with a buddy by her side.Mint Tulip doesn’t need perfection. She just needs someone willing to show her that she’s safe, wanted, and worth the effort.Mint Tuilp's adoption fee is $0, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet!
