Let me introduce myself--I`m Kennedy, a domestic short-haired cat with dilute calico markings, estimated at about four years of age. No surprise that I`m a female--we calicos are almost always girls! When I turned up in a neighborhood and appeared to be without a home, a compassionate individual made sure I got to Animal Ark and out of harm`s way. Now I`m getting lots of good food, attention and affection from the staff and volunteers, and I`m hoping to find a home where I can relax and enjoy life. I can`t go to a home with other felines. My history with dogs is unknown. I do have kidney disease, but don`t let that scare you - I`m on a special diet and doing well! I just need someone who`s willing to help me stay healthy and loved. I`d be pleased to make your acquaintance if you think I might be a good fit for your home.

Hello there—I`m Meekasch, a striking black-and-white gentleman with soulful eyes and a heart full of gratitude. I`m estimated to be around two years old, and while my past is a mystery, my future is looking brighter every day. Not long ago, I was found in heartbreaking condition—hungry, alone, and unsure of what tomorrow would bring. Thankfully, a compassionate soul brought me to Animal Ark, where I was welcomed with open arms and given the care I so desperately needed. Slowly but surely, I`m regaining my strength and learning to trust again. Because no one knows what I`ve been through, I’d thrive best in a calm, adult-only home where I can feel safe and loved. I may be a little reserved at first, but once I warm up, you`ll find I`m a deeply affectionate and loyal companion. If you believe in second chances and the magic of new beginnings, I’d love to meet you. Stop by the shelter and say hello—I might just be the missing piece your heart’s been waiting for.

I was rescued by an animal control officer and brought to impound, where Animal Ark stepped in to help. Thanks to them, I’m now safe, warm, and well-fed. They’ve named me “Noir”—a sleek, solid black kitten with a mysterious past. My experience with children, dogs, and other cats is unknown, so I’m looking for a home without children under five. To help me develop proper feline social skills, I’ll need to be adopted with a kitten companion or placed in a home with a friendly, playful resident cat. If the idea of sharing your life with a miniature house panther sounds exciting, I’d love to meet you. Visit the shelter and say hello!
