Echo showed up on our porch just dying for pets and wanted to follow us into our house. She has been living in our spare room ever since we found her and is already very comfortable in our house. Echo is super friendly, wants pets, and frequently wants to lay on your lap. She greatly enjoys being around people and happily trills and purrs when she has visitors. Echo does well with children but does not like our other cats. She is a polydactyl cat and has all her claws. She also has a clean bill of health from the vet.

She has never scratched furniture, has always been healthy and always uses her litter box. She loves to go in and out of the house and will let you know when she wants out, she's verbal like that🤣. She's curious and likes fresh air but is fine being in the house as long as she can get out and exercise. She needs a home where her new human is home more than they are away. She will be a great a companion for her forever, human💕

Let me introduce myself--I`m Kennedy, a domestic short-haired cat with dilute calico markings, estimated at about four years of age. No surprise that I`m a female--we calicos are almost always girls! When I turned up in a neighborhood and appeared to be without a home, a compassionate individual made sure I got to Animal Ark and out of harm`s way. Now I`m getting lots of good food, attention and affection from the staff and volunteers, and I`m hoping to find a home where I can relax and enjoy life. I can`t go to a home with other felines. My history with dogs is unknown. I do have kidney disease, but don`t let that scare you - I`m on a special diet and doing well! I just need someone who`s willing to help me stay healthy and loved. A kind person took care of us after she found us without food or shelter in her neighborhood. We came to Animal Ark as soon as space opened up, and we`ve been learning how wonderful it is to have regular meals and a roof over our heads. I`m a buff-colored tabby male and can`t go to a home with children under the age of five years old. I`m bonded with my sister Zazu, and we must go home together. We are both still a little shy and would do best in a quiet home without dogs. I am Jett, a 1 1/2-year-old solid black cat originally adopted from Animal Ark as a kitten. I was in a multi-cat household for over a year and got along with everyone except my sibling, a very shy female. We were adopted together, but at some point, we were no longer friends. My family tried to make things works, but for the good of everyone involved, human and feline, I came back to the shelter for a fresh start. In my previous home, my other cat roommates were a male around my age and a senior female. We got along well, cuddled and played together. Going forward, my cat friends will have to be assertive enough to not allow me to be too bossy. I`m a lover boy and ready to embark on a new adventure to the right family.
