Story
Don’t you love the feel of a cat’s fur? Mine is white and tabby, a nice brown color. I’m called Tucker. Did you know that the name Tucker means “cloth softener” or “cloth weaver”? I’m especially glad for my coat because I am one of 18 cats who were left in the parking lot of a boat store in December 2024! We were left together in 2 carriers/containers. A rescue group brought us to Paws and Claws, where could be safe, warm, and receive the care and attention we need and deserve. I was adopted in April, but unfortunately I was returned to the shelter recently because my people were moving and could not take me along. I appreciate attention and petting, and I started playing a bit my first day here. When you meet me, please touch. Please pet. Please talk to me. I’d love to have people spend time with me. I hope that someday soon I can be someone’s very own Tucker boy. Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax

Story
“If you are very strong, you must also be very kind.” – Pippi Longstocking. I would love to go home with someone who is very kind. People here are very caring. I’m Pippi and I am estimated to be around 1 year old. I came to Paws and Claws from another rescue with two other kittens, Monkey and Jesse. I tend to be a little bashful, but I`ll be thrilled if you pet me. I like to talk, and I like to play too. I get along well with other cats, especially my friend Attica, so I might like having kitty companions in my new home. I’ll be meowing, “Yippy skippy!” when you adopt me to be your darling Pippi! Story
Have you got a spare throne you’re not using? I’m Leecy, which is what my person called me as a nickname for my original name, Elise. Five years ago, I was surrendered to a vet clinic because my person could no longer care for me. I was adopted from Paws and Claws, and now I am back because I was not getting along with the other cat in my home. I am 11 years old now, and I am looking for a home that will truly be my forever home. My person was very sad to give me up. She said I was “the queen of the house” and that she called me “somewhat neurotic.” I guess she meant that I only liked being around her but not with other humans. I don’t like children. I don’t like other animals. Sometimes I slept with my person, and sometimes I was affectionate. I like playing with toys. I like both wet and dry food. I would do best living with a single person and with no other animals. If your home is your palace, do you have room for me? I’d love to be your lovely Leecy girl.Adoption fee $50 + microchip fee $30 + tax
