Story
You can tune a piano, but you can’t tuna fish! I’m a young, adult black female with a spot of white on my chest. I’m called Tuna now; my original name was Kit Kat. The first time I was in the shelter, I was 4 months old and was surrendered by an elderly couple who had four adult cats, so having kittens proved too much for them. I was adopted in December 2023, but now I’ve been returned because of a behavior issue. I prefer having two tall litter boxes to choose from. My people tried to lower the noise and excitement in my home, but they feel that I need a more consistent environment or a cat friend to help me become more confident. When I was here before, I was in a communal room with cats and kittens. I have sisters out there somewhere, and I loved snuggling with them, so I would love a kitty companion! I love people, and I will run right up to sniff you as I greet you. I was not around other cats or dogs in my home, but I have been around chickens and rabbits! My favorite plaything is my toy rat, and I also love the laser light and solving puzzles. I’ve been very good around plants. I stay off counters and avoid places where I shouldn’t be. I loved my cat tree by the window where I sat for hours watching birds. I wore a harness outdoors on a zip line too! My name might be Tuna, but I’m still as sweet as a Kit Kat! I hope you’ll zip over to the shelter to see if we’re a purrfect match so I can go home to be your Tuna Kat.Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax

Story
I’m elegant and shoeless like the Barefoot Contessa! (My name is usually a nickname for Teresa.) I’m Tessa, a 1-year-old white and black female cat, one of the 18 “T Cats” who came to the shelter in early December. You may remember that we were found in a parking lot! Brr! A few of our friends have been adopted, but many of us are still here. I have made good progress. I like being petted, and I am quite friendly. I love playing, and I’ll try like crazy to catch the laser light, chase and wrestle with the other cats, and leap at wand toys. Whenever someone comes into our room with Churu or any squeeze up treat, I join the group in gathering around for my share. De-lish! We have access to kibble all day long, and when people bring in the canned food – Fancy Feast or Friskies, that is a great treat too! I’m not all about play and food. I also love to relax by sitting in the big window watching the birds. Do you have a window seat especially for me? I’d love to be your darling Tessa. Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax

Story
Hey, everyone, Teresa here. Since I arrived here in December with 17 other “T Cats,” I’ve been trying to “bloom” where I’ve been “planeted.” Ha! My name comes from a Latin word that means “earth.” It hasn’t been easy. The whole bunch of us were found in a couple of kennels in a parking lot, so many of us are still rather shy but allow some petting if approached slowly. A few of our friends have been adopted, but many are still waiting for our forever homes. We’ve made a lot of progress. We’re active, playful young cats. I’m a 2-year-old brown/orange tabby girl who loves playing chase games with the other cats. We all love wand toys and even that doggone laser light! One of our favorite things is Churu! If you want to be our hero, bring squeeze up treats! You’ll be mobbed! We have access to kibble round the clock, and when we get canned food – Fancy Feast or Friskies – that’s exciting too. I’ll be even more excited to be transplanted so I can blossom in a new environment, a forever home as your pretty, young Teresa kitty!Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax
