Story
Hello! This is Buster and Madi. The are 10 year old brother and sister (yes, they are litter mates). Buster and Madi had a rough start to life. They were skinny, covered with fleas, and very nervous when they were adopted at 6 months old. Since then, they have become friendly and pudgy house cats. Buster and Madi must be rehomed together, as they have never been apart. In the last 10 years, the current owners have added 3 small children and 2 dogs to the family, and the cats are not getting the time or attention that they need. Both cats are declawed in the front only, and both have no health concerns. They must be rehomed as indoor cats only. Buster and Madi are looking for a relaxing, quiet home to retire to.

Story
Don’t you love the feel of a cat’s fur? Mine is white and tabby, a nice brown color. I’m called Tucker. Did you know that the name Tucker means “cloth softener” or “cloth weaver”? I’m especially glad for my coat because I am one of 18 cats who were left in the parking lot of a boat store in December 2024! We were left together in 2 carriers/containers. A rescue group brought us to Paws and Claws, where could be safe, warm, and receive the care and attention we need and deserve. I was adopted in April, but unfortunately I was returned to the shelter recently because my people were moving and could not take me along. I appreciate attention and petting, and I started playing a bit my first day here. When you meet me, please touch. Please pet. Please talk to me. I’d love to have people spend time with me. I hope that someday soon I can be someone’s very own Tucker boy. Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax

Story
“If you are very strong, you must also be very kind.” – Pippi Longstocking. I would love to go home with someone who is very kind. People here are very caring. I’m Pippi and I am estimated to be around 1 year old. I came to Paws and Claws from another rescue with two other kittens, Monkey and Jesse. I tend to be a little bashful, but I`ll be thrilled if you pet me. I like to talk, and I like to play too. I get along well with other cats, especially my friend Attica, so I might like having kitty companions in my new home. I’ll be meowing, “Yippy skippy!” when you adopt me to be your darling Pippi! Story
Cinnamon buns! Just the thought probably makes you feel warm all over, doesn’t it! I wasn’t warm when I was found walking into someone’s home in rural Wisconsin! I was hoping to get out of the cold! I’m a 7-year-old tabby named Cinnamon. No one came forward to claim me, so I went to a rescue place. Now I’m here at Paws and Claws. I am a girl who values my space and wants clear boundaries. I can be nervous and may hiss and growl if I am approached too quickly. I prefer to observe from a distance and choose when I feel comfortable engaging. Someone from the rescue described me as having an energy level that is mostly low to moderate, and I settle best in a calm, predictable environment with minimal pressure. I was hissing and avoidant prior to the vet visit at the shelter soon after my arrival, but once I was caught, I did not fuss at all! I will need slow, respectful handling and will benefit from a quiet space, patience and a consistent routine that allows me to build trust at my own pace. If you have a quiet home and have the time and patience to let me adjust at my own pace, I’d love to be your Cinnamon girl. Adoption fee $50 + microchip fee $30 + tax
