Loving 9-Year-Old Female Tabby Looking for a Forever Home Beautiful, gentle and extremely affectionate 9-year-old female tabby looking for a loving new home. Her previous owner sadly passed away about a year ago, and I have been caring for her ever since. She is spayed, vaccinated including rabies, litter-tray trained, and has settled well into my home. She has a wonderful personality, loves attention and human company, and is a very sweet and gentle cat. I am moving back to the UK within the next month or two, and with everything involved in the move, I know I cannot give her the time and attention she deserves. I am looking for someone who will give her a loving, stable forever home and plenty of companionship. She really is a lovely cat, and finding her the right home is very important to me.

Cassandra is a lovely grey tabby who was living outside in Northern Ontario with various other relatives, until one day she walked into someone's enclosed porch and made friends. After a long day of travel, she arrived at an AbbeyCats foster home incredibly scared. However, after a couple of days of decompression, Cassandra has opened up and showed us how much she likes to be inside with people's attention. Cassandra loves to lie on the window sill and watch the bug, birds, and plants. While she is still scared of other noises, she doesn't hide anymore when we walk into her room. She greets us with a meow and begins to purr, rubbing up on our legs and asking for pets. She also loves to be brushed! Cassandra would likely do best in a quiet and calm home with adults and perhaps older teens who will give her the time to feel safe and secure. They will be rewarded by her sweet eyes and enthusiastic purrs. DOB: January 1, 2025

Star is a loving, easy-going young cat, estimated to be a little over one year old. I took her in as a stray during an emergency, so her exact age and history are unknown. She is affectionate on her own terms: she enjoys chin scratches, sometimes becomes very cuddly and loves sleeping beside her person. She tolerates being picked up but prefers not to be held for long or cradled. She also appreciates quiet time and will let you know when she wants space. Star has a sensitive stomach and previously ate GO! Solutions food. She has occasionally coughed or wheezed with her tongue slightly out, and she has recently urinated outside her litter boxes. These concerns have not yet been diagnosed and require veterinary assessment. A consistently clean litter box is especially important for her. Star may also be slightly overweight. She needs a patient, attentive home prepared to arrange veterinary care and give her affection while respecting her boundaries.

If Bella could tell her story, we're pretty sure she'd ask for just one thing: a soft bed that never disappears. This beautiful 9-year-old girl came to us as a stray, and it's clear she never belonged out there. She even had a microchip, giving us hope that someone would be missing her. But when we tracked it down, we learned her registered owner had given her away about a month ago... and couldn't remember to whom. Somewhere along the way, Bella slipped through the cracks. Now she's looking for something she should have had all along: a family who won't lose track of her, forget about her, or leave her wondering where she belongs. Bella does have a few things that make adopters scroll a little faster but we're hoping you'll keep reading. First, she's 9 years old. We prefer to say she's 9 years young. She's still curious, still enjoys attention, and still has plenty of pep in her step. Think of her as the grandma at the gym who somehow outpaces everyone on the treadmill. Age isn't slowing Bella down anytime soon. Second, she's a black cat. While some people overlook black cats, many cultures consider them symbols of good luck. We happen to think the real good fortune is ending up with a cat as lovely as Bella. And finally, Bella is diabetic. We know that can sound intimidating, but it really isn't the scary diagnosis many people imagine. She simply needs a consistent routine and insulin to keep her feeling her best. It takes a little extra care, but Bella gives back so much more in return. She's absolutely worth those few extra minutes each day. What Bella needs most isn't perfection. She needs someone who sees past the number on her birthday, the color of her fur, and a medical condition, and sees her — a sweet, resilient cat who deserves to spend her golden years knowing exactly where home is. Bella has already experienced what it's like to be forgotten. We're hoping the next chapter of her story is about being chosen... and cherished for the rest of her life.
