Story
Birthday: March 19, 2025   Dragonfly was in dire need of medical attention when she was discovered. She was caught during a TNR mission and taken straight to the vet for an evaluation.  Her eyes were severely infected, and she suffered from an upper respiratory infection.  Thankfully, after antibiotics were administered to her, she's fully recovered and much happier for it!  However, one eye was damaged to the point where she has limited vision.  However, that doesn't stop her from living life to the fullest!    As you can imagine, Dragonfly is a bit shy and skittish, but she has improved since her foster began to work with her. After she learned that she gets treats after taking her eye medicine, she gladly accepts pets from her foster.  It may take some time for her to fully trust humans, but she's on the right track! As long as her new family understands of her nervous behavior, she'll grow more attached to them. She doesn't like being held and is getting more used to being petted. In fact sometimes she rolls for belly rubs.    Dragonfly does have some spunk in her too, surprisingly! She loves to play with her other feline buddies, especially Beetle and Butterfly!  It is best that she has another kitty friend either to go home with her or one at home that can take her under their paw and show her the new home and life. She covets toys like they are the holy grail! The only thing better than toys is food! She can't get enough of her canned meals, and it can make for a great bribe to ger her used to petting while she eats!   Dragonfly's adoption donation is $115 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.  If you would like more information on Dragonfly, please contact Kim at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com. Story
Birthdays: March 28, 2026 Available: Late July 2026 Topaz and Aggie are a bonded brother-and-sister duo who bring the perfect balance of cuddles and kitten antics. While these two would love a home together, their foster will consider separate homes as long as there is a young playful kitty in the potential forever home.  Topaz is a world-class purr machine whose motor starts the moment you look in his direction. He loves being held, snuggled, and doted on, and is always happy to curl up in your arms for some quality cuddle time. Aggie is the fearless explorer. Curious about everything, she's always on the move looking for her next adventure, whether that's chasing a toy, or wrestling her brother. Once she's worn herself out, she's more than ready to settle in for pets and snuggles. Together, they spend their days racing through the house, wrestling, chasing toys, and inventing new games. When playtime is over, you'll find them sleeping side by side, completely content in each other's company. Topaz and Aggie would do well with respectful children, get along with other cats, and are fine with cat-friendly dogs. If you're looking for double the purrs, double the entertainment, and double the love, Topaz and Aggie are ready to meet you.  Topaz and Aggie's adoption donation is $245 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter and spay.  They will be neutered and spayed when they are big enough, and can go home after that, but can be adopted in the meantime. If you would like more information on them, please contact Debra at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com. Story
Birthday: April 17, 2025 Location: Steelton, PA Meg and Gabrielle are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. After nearly a year of being each other’s constant companions, separating them would be heartbreaking. The good news? You get two incredible cats for the price of two best friends! So what are these two like? Gabrielle, or Gabby to those who know her, is a stunning calico with piercing golden eyes that will stop you in your tracks. Though she is an adult, she’s still very tiny — a true perma-kitten! Her swishy little walk is genuinely hilarious and impossible not to love. What really sets Gabby apart, though, is her voice: she is wonderfully vocal, full of squeaks, chirps, and commentary that will keep you entertained all day long. Don’t let the drama fool you; Gabby is deeply affectionate. She loves pets and is perfectly happy to be scooped up and carried around the house, as long as those pets keep coming. She balances her playful, curious energy with a real love of quiet closeness, and she’ll check in on you throughout the day just to make sure things are going well. One small thing to know: Gabby does best on a prescription diet for her sensitive tummy. It’s a simple, manageable part of her care, and her future family will get all the details they need to keep her happy and healthy. And then there is sweet Meg. That’s what her fosters call her, and it says everything you need to know. She is an absolute joy.  She is a regal, long-faced beauty with a graceful neck and the most gorgeous long whiskers you’ve ever seen. She carries herself with quiet elegance, and then she curls up in your lap and kneads a heaping batch of biscuits before settling in for a nap.  Once she does, that's when you realize she’s also the coziest thing on earth. Petite in size but huge in personality, Meg proves that the best things really do come in small packages. Meg is a true snuggler. She seeks out her humans almost every day for cuddle sessions and brings a calming, warm presence to whatever room she’s in. She’s not demanding, just genuinely and sweetly devoted. If you’re watching TV, she’ll find you. If you need a quiet afternoon companion, she’s your girl. Their adoption donation is $165 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay. If you would like more information on Gabrielle, please contact lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com.
