She was young—about six months old—and despite the uncertainty of life outdoors, she showed nothing but trust. Chelsea leaned into gentle pets, soaking up affection as if she’d been waiting for someone to notice her. With cold weather on the way, Darrell worried about her safety and reached out, hoping there might be room for her and a chance to keep her warm. Thanks to compassion and quick action, Chelsea didn’t have to spend another chilly night outside. Now she’s safe, warm, and ready for her next chapter. Chelsea is a sweet, friendly girl who clearly loves people and is longing for a home where she’ll never have to wonder where her next bit of kindness will come from. Have you ever met Jennie Kim? Jennie Kim is an 8-month-old female tuxedo with the softest little heart. She came into rescue as a young mama cat and all of her babies have been adopted, and now it’s finally her turn to be the one who’s loved. Before coming to E-Rescue Houston, the kind people who found Jennie Kim made sure she was spayed and up to date on her shots. She’s gentle, curious, and really enjoys being around people. Jennie Kim is cat friendly and does well with other cats. She’s also slowly being introduced to dogs, and so far, their barking doesn’t seem to bother her. She would love a calm, cozy home where she can nap in sunny spots, explore at her own pace, and be someone’s sweet little shadow. Emma & Gemma were found huddled together with their devoted calico mama, trying to stay warm and safe. A kind woman brought the little family inside, and they’ve been growing, playing, and thriving ever since. These sweet sisters share everything—meals, naps, adventures—and they are truly inseparable. Where one goes, the other follows. Because of their beautiful bond, they will only be adopted together. They’re available for pre-adoption now, with spay surgery scheduled for mid–late March.
