Mitzi was adopted in 2022 after being rescued with a litter of kittens. She thought she had found her forever home. Recently, after four years, she ended up at a shelter. Thankfully a volunteer was able to get there just before closing and bring her back to safety. It was a very close call. Now Mitzi is looking for a new forever home. She is very sweet, friendly, and loves people. She has lived as an only cat, so we’re not sure yet how she would do with other cats, but she would likely be very happy as someone’s spoiled companion. She is current on her shots and ready for a new home. Kyra’s story began when a kind person posted on Nextdoor asking for help for a sweet stray cat who clearly didn’t belong outside. She was far too loving and friendly to be surviving on her own. Thankfully, an E Rescue Houston foster stepped up and gave her a safe place to land. Now Kyra is ready to find her forever home! She has been spayed and is an incredibly loving, gentle girl who will make a wonderful companion. If you’re looking for a sweet kitty to share your life with, Kyra may be the perfect match.

We were contacted about two young kittens who were struggling to survive outdoors and desperately needed help. We agreed to take them in, with the plan to have their mom spayed and returned through TNR. But then we learned just how incredibly sweet, friendly, and social she was, and our response was simple: "Bring Mom too!" Meet Zara! She is a loving, affectionate girl who has been an amazing mother to her kittens. Now that her babies are growing up, it's finally Zara's turn to be cared for and cherished. Zara has been spayed, vaccinated, and received all of the veterinary care she needs. She is ready to leave her days of raising litter after litter behind and begin the next chapter of her life. We would love to find Zara a forever home where she can be spoiled, loved, and never have to worry about food, safety, or surviving on her own again. She has spent her life taking care of others now it's time for someone to take care of her.
