Story
This spicy feral girl was trapped as part of TNR efforts. If she cannot be rehabbed for home life, she will be released. *UPDATE* Ophelia has been in a home-based foster and is opening up slowly but surely. She needs another "emotional support cat" in the home to let her know people are trustworthy.  She has started playing with her foster mom a little big (great progress!). She has gotten along very well with both cats in the home. She will make a great indoor cat with a bit more time and patience. She seems to benefit a lot from other cats in the home which speeds up her acclimation process.  She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She is being fostered in a private home in Sanger, TX.  ##2686761##

Story
Orion was found near Christi Ln in Krum, TX on 4/4/2026. Despite arriving with a cute little bow tie on, no one claimed him. This super social cutie headed to the vet on 4/15/26 for neuter, microchip, and vaccines. He is estimated to be 2-3 years old.  Orion doesn't seem phased by the dogs in the rescue even though there are 20 of them and just 1 of him. He is friendly with men, women, and children alike.  He arrived with an injury to his foot/leg that seems to be healing well on its own without medical intervention (possibly sprain in leg, paw had single puncture that's healing nicely). We are looking for an indoor home for Orion as outdoor cats face a number of negative life outcomes - from being eaten by coyotes/hawks to getting hit by cars to being attacked by dogs and people. The home is the safest place for a cat. As a rule, CoPilot Animal Rescue only permits TNR or barn cats when that is a non-social cat's best placement option. In Orion's case, he is 100% a candidate for an indoor home, and we will hold out until he gets the best placement for him.  ##2710732##

Story
This is Gravy & Biscuit, bonded brothers who must stay together. They are 2 years and 8 months old and polydactyl. Gravy is the grey one and Biscuit is the brown one. Gravy is active, playful, and food-motivated. He loves laser toys and enjoys relaxing at the top of his cat tree watching birds. He will cuddle on his terms but is more independent. Biscuit is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves to cuddle at night and make biscuits until he falls asleep. He can be shy at first but warms up with time. They keep each other entertained and play together daily. Both are indoor cats but enjoy supervised outdoor time. We are rehoming them after welcoming our newborn. They’ve had some recent territorial issues, including accidents on baby items, and we’re no longer able to manage it. We want to find them a safe, loving home together.
