Story
Lily is a petite and sweet geriatric lady who loves a good cuddle! She warms up to people very quickly and makes sure nobody feels left out - she has plenty of love to go around. Playing with crinkly toys and hunting virtual birds are some of her favorite activities. When you’re doing a task, she loves to "help" get the job done. Computers are especially enticing! She's a brave and easy-going girl, except when it comes to the vacuum cleaner. Despite her age, she can jump and climb, especially when the reward is you. Her meow is quite unique- either silent or like a duck quack when she calls for attention. Lily would be a good fit for someone who is home frequently or has roommates; she loves human company and snuggling in bed with you. Story
Daniel has recently come to VT from Puero Rico! He was abandoned in a church and found with Nube, who is also at QCC. He is a 4 year old cat with a spirit of a kitten, playful, fun and vocal. He loves catnip, playing with wand toys and batting around catnip filled mice and bananas. Daniel loves to be petted and enjoys attention, and also likes to rest in the sun and look out the window. He is very affectionate with his caregivers and has the potential to be quite the lap cat! Sudden noises and movements scare him, so he would do best in a home with respectful/gentle older kids. He gets along great with other cats and has a very mild personality. He is just a large, happy guy. If you'd be interested in adopting this hunk of love, fill out an application on our website and stop by Queen City Cat Lounge to visit Daniel.

Story
Meeka is a sweet and charming senior kitty, around 12 years old, who has mastered the art of being the purrfect companion. She's friendly and social without being demanding. You'll often find her snoozing contentedly at the foot of the bed, and unlike some cats, she's considerate enough to let you sleep in rather than demanding breakfast at dawn! Meeka does best with adults and older children, around age 9 and up. She's a cat who appreciates having her personal space respected and isn't a fan of being carried around like a rag doll. That said, she's patient and tolerant, making her a wonderful companion for respectful, cat-savvy kids. When Meeka first arrives in a new home, she will seek out a secret hiding spot given the chance. It's best to provide a safe space, giving her time to adjust, and when she's ready, she'll explore her surroundings and get to know her new family. Meeka isn't an overly playful cat, but she's still a cat and you'll have fun discovering what toys bring out the hunter in her. She's a lovely girl and her calm presence will bring a lightness to your home. If you're looking for a friendly, easy-going family kitty who enjoys human company, Meeka could be your match! Complete an adoption application at queencitycatsvt.org if you'd like to meet her.
