Story
This handsome 4-year-old black cat has come a long way in the seven months he’s been in foster care. When he first arrived, everything felt overwhelming—he spent his first few weeks perched on top of a dresser, just watching the world from a safe distance. With time, patience, and a steady routine, he’s grown into a confident cat who now roams the house and likes being part of daily life. He’s the kind of cat who picks his people. He may take a little time to warm up—and might even give a cautious hiss to new faces—but once he trusts you, he’s all in. He tends to bond especially closely with men and would love a home where he can be someone’s loyal sidekick. In his foster home, he does well with female cats but would prefer to be the only male. He’d do best in a calm, predictable home with someone who understands that trust takes time and lets him move at his own pace. He has been diagnosed with FIC, a stress-related urinary condition, so a stable, low-stress environment is really important for him. He’ll do best in a home where someone is around most of the time and doesn’t travel often, since changes in routine can be hard on him. The good news is that with consistency and care, he’s already made great progress. Once he feels safe, his sweet side really comes out. He loves stretching out in a sunny spot and is a big fan of belly rubs—when he’s in the mood. He’s also got a little personality and won’t hesitate to let you know when he’s missed you. If you’re looking for a loyal companion and are willing to give him the stability he needs, he’ll return it with affection, character, and plenty of cozy moments in the sun.

Story
Meet Mama, affectionately nicknamed Susuwatari after the adorable dust sprites from My Neighbor Totoro! I’m a confident, curious little companion who loves being part of whatever you’re doing. I may not always be a lap cat, but I’ll happily follow you from room to room, chat with my tiny squeaky noises, and curl up at the foot of your bed each night so we can still be close. I like to keep life interesting and am always finding something new to do. At dusk, I might zoom through the house like a tiny whirlwind, then moments later flop dramatically onto my side for attention. My favorite toys are springs, and I can entertain myself for ages chasing them around. I’ve even been known to play a little fetch now and then, especially if it earns me a few happy butt scratches afterward. I’m friendly, social, and love meeting new people. I enjoy being near my humans and investigating every new sight, sound, or object that appears in my home. I don’t mind being picked up, though I also appreciate having my boundaries respected when I’m ready for a little space. I would do best in a calmer home where I can enjoy plenty of companionship and attention. I could be perfectly happy as your one-and-only cat, though I may also enjoy the right feline friend. Older children would likely do well with me, and cat-safe plants are important because I’m very dedicated to inspecting every leaf I can find. More than anything, I’m a sweet, entertaining little shadow with a big personality and a lot of love to give. If you’re looking for a companion who will make you smile every day and always want to be nearby, I’d love to meet you.

Story
Meet Oracle, a loving little soul with a journey that showcases her resilience and spirit! When she first arrived, Oracle was a shy kitty battling an infection and adjusting to her new surroundings. With a little extra time and lots of love, she blossomed into a curious and playful companion. Despite her initial progress, Oracle faced challenges with anxiety that led her to bite and lick herself. To help her heal, she spent some time in a cone-though she was quite the escape artist at first! After some dedicated one-on-one time and patience, she's learned to accept the cone, and I often find her comfortably lounging in it, ready for playtime or cuddles. Oracle takes daily medication to help manage her anxiety. After some trial and error, we've found a foolproof method for her to take it-she happily eats it mixed with her favorite Sheba wet food, topped off with Feline Greenies dental treats. With a steady diet of wet and dry food, she's thriving and full of energy! This sweet girl adores my other two cats and became fast friends with them, showing her affectionate nature. Oracle's favorite napping spot is right on your lap, and she's always quick to join you the moment she hears the recliner go up. She loves to play, especially with toys she can carry around and that make noise, and you'll often find her favorite toys scattered throughout the house. Oracle is looking for a loving forever home where she can continue to thrive, surrounded by gentle hands and warm laps. If you're ready to open your heart to this delightful girl, Oracle is eager to share her love and playful spirit with you!
