Story
Tucker is an 11-year-old black and gray tabby with a gentle soul and a heart full of affection. Weighing in at about 12 pounds, he’s the perfect mix of cozy lap companion and easygoing housemate. Tucker is incredibly friendly and enjoys being around people—whether that means curling up beside you for a quiet evening or greeting you with soft purrs when you walk through the door. He’s the kind of cat who forms strong bonds and thrives on companionship. In his previous home, Tucker became overwhelmed when several new cats were introduced all at once, which led to some stress-related challenges. Because of this, he would do best in a calm, stable environment—either as the only pet or with very gradual introductions to one or two other easygoing animals. With the right setting, Tucker’s sweet and affectionate personality truly shines, and he’s ready to bring warmth and comfort to a loving forever home. Our cat adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered and microchipped. They receive the FVRCP (feline distemper combo) vaccine, have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. This is especially important if you are viewing this animal on any site other than Animal Services` website.

Story
I am making the difficult decision to rehome my beloved adult cat since having a baby. I have not been able to properly provide her the love and care that she deserves and would love to see her united with someone who is looking for a cuddly companion in a single-pet home. I rescued Muse from a shelter in Thurston County when she was about one year old in 2019. There was not a lot of information given other than they found her wandering.I got her when I was living alone in an apartment and she was happiest when it was just me and her. When I moved in with my now husband, she did take a while to warm up but now she will happily sit on his lap. When I was pregnant, Muse did not leave my side. After having the baby for a year and a half, her needs have become second. Both my husband and I work full time and all of our energy now goes towards our daughter and Muse often gets left behind. I am hoping to find someone who will love her and keep her company in her later years.
