Recess is ready for a fresh start — and a forever home to finally call her own. 🧡🖤🤍 Estimated to be around 1 year old, this beautiful calico came to us after she and her kittens were trapped by animal control at a local daycare. She’s spent the last several weeks safely raising her babies, and now it’s finally her turn to be cared for and loved. Recess is not only stunning, but incredibly sweet as well. While she can be a little unsure at first, she’s been steadily building her confidence in foster care and continues to show more of her affectionate, friendly personality each day. Watching her learn to relax and trust has been incredibly rewarding. She did struggle some with the resident cats in her foster home, so any introductions to other cats should be done slowly and thoughtfully to help set everyone up for success. With patience and proper introductions, we believe she has the potential to continue growing in confidence and comfort. After spending so much of her young life surviving and raising babies, Recess deserves a home where she can finally just be a cat — loved, safe, and spoiled the way she should have been all along. All our cats are spayed/neutered, dewormed, FELV tested, microchipped, receive prevention while in our care, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. Bug is a 5.5 year old with a huge personality and an even bigger sense of adventure. This handsome guy is mischievous, curious, playful, and never shy about sharing his opinions. Bug is a very vocal companion who loves to “chat” with his people throughout the day.Bug is full of energy and always looking for fun, whether he’s bird watching from the window, chasing string toys, or convincing you to hand over a few extra treats. He’s affectionate and cuddly once he’s comfortable, and he thrives with people who appreciate an active, engaging cat with lots of personality.Bug would do best as the only pet in an adult-only home. He is not comfortable around kids or dogs and will be happiest in a calm environment where he can settle in at his own pace. Bug may be able to live with other cats.Bug is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and has a history of feline idiopathic cystitis, so he’ll need an adopter who can help him maintain a low-stress lifestyle and keep an eye on his urinary health.

Meet Mushroom Mushroom is a little survivor with a big heart. Though his tiny frame shows the hardships he’s been through, his spirit is anything but fragile. With wide, gentle eyes and a soft, hopeful purr, he greets everyone like an old friend. He leans into every touch, as if he’s been waiting his whole life for kindness—and now that he’s found it, he soaks up every moment. Despite his rough start, Mushroom is incredibly sweet and trusting. He loves curling up beside you, following you from room to room, and quietly keeping you company. His favorite things are warm blankets, soft voices, and being reminded that he’s safe. Mushroom may be small, but his capacity for love is enormous. He’s the kind of cat who doesn’t just find a home—he fills it with warmth.
