Eugene is a handsome 1-year-old orange tabby with a big personality and an even bigger purr motor. This chatty boy loves being part of your daily routine and learns schedules quickly — especially when it comes to bedtime and breakfast. If he hears you waking up in the morning, don’t be surprised if he comes trotting over to ask for cuddles so you’ll stay in bed a little longer. His favorite place to sleep is right in your lap, purring away contentedly.Eugene is also a world-class biscuit maker and has the adorable habit of chewing on a blanket while he kneads. He loves a good cat tree and could happily spend hours lounging in a sunny window watching the world go by.Because Eugene likes to know what’s happening around him, he does best with people who communicate with him and give him a little warning before moving or picking him up unexpectedly. If startled, he may give a warning nip or swat to let you know he’s uncomfortable. In that case, his name would mean `hot` in Swahili—perfect for this orange gentleman. If his name is Japanese, it roughly translates to `from the beginning`—also suitable, as Moto Moto is looking for his new beginning.
