Xena is a 3-year-old Plott Hound mix weighing 52 pounds. A delightful girl, she came to us from a family who didn't want her or her ten puppy litter. How sad! But of course that's where we came in. Xena's foster says she is sweet, affectionate, playful, great with other dogs and very food motivated. (Better keep a box of bones around the house!) This girl who has been treated for heartworm would make a great addition to your family! Meet Tigger 🐾 Tigger’s story is one of resilience. Since 2021, he’s been in and out of the Charleston Animal Society, where he was adopted, returned, and picked up again. Most recently, he came back in heartbreaking condition: emaciated, with mange, injuries that suggested he’d been through cruelty, and a spirit that still refused to give up. Despite all that, Tigger has a heart full of love and a zest for life. On walks, he’s a gentle old soul who loves soaking up nature right by your side. Once inside, he transforms into a playful goofball—tossing his toys in the air with wild delight before settling down for cuddles. He knows when to be silly, how to be affectionate and he knows when it’s time to chill. ❤️ Tigger is determined when it comes to affection, lol. When he wants love, he’ll make sure you know it, and he’ll happily curl up next to you once he’s gotten his fill. Brindles are the best! And Lady Bird is everything that's great about a brindle: she's sweet, gentle, low key, and super smart. Birdie is great in public and with kids. She was the chillest dog when she made her adoption event debut. She sat politely in front of anyone who walked up to pet her. Birdie loves car rides and hanging out on the couch. She's fully vetted including spay, adult shots, and is on heartworm preventative. She is very good on a leash. Lady Bird is ready for a family to love and that will love how amazing she is! This gorgeous brindle girl has some amazing tiger stripes, and the sweet temperament that all brindles seem to have. We love how happy she always is. Bailey loves other dogs and hauling around old shoes. She is glad to go in her crate for meals, and she keeps her crate clean. Bailey isn't needy, but she does love a good head rub! Her sweet face will make you smile, and her gorgeous fur will get lots of attention! Bailey was born around Christmas 2025 and had truly been a gift. Now she's ready to bring joy to your family!
