Story
Hi, I’m Blackberry, a charming pup whose adorable face matches the sweetness of my namesake! Born in March, I weighed 32 lbs. the last time I was at the vet. I’m a young gal just learning the ways of the world. So far, it’s just been my mom (Blueberry) and me out in the world, and we are so happy to be with TLRD now. Everyone here is just getting to know me, and I’m already learning how wonderful people can be. I hear there’s a whole exciting world out there that includes going on walks, playing with toys, cuddling with everyone who will let me, and living in this thing called a furever home. Are you ready to help me learn and welcome me into your pack? Great! I’m ready, too! Please fill out an application today so that we can get started!April 18, 2024, 5:42 pm

Story
Holmes is shy, silly, goofy, amusing, and sensitive, and his foster mom says he’s “a gentle giant but super goofy. Once he’s comfortable, he loves to make people laugh!” This young pup is under a year old and about 55 lbs. He’s good with dogs, crate trained, great on leash, and consistent about looking to his people for direction. Holmes lives with cats and kids over 12 in his current foster home, and he is doing great with all of them! He is also doing well with waiting (to eat, go outside, etc.) and learning “place.” Since Holmes is a young dog, he will thrive with humans who are willing to continue his basic training and who will help him learn that he can trust them. Please submit an application to meet this sweet guy today!April 18, 2024, 5:42 pm

Story
Gorgeous 5 1/2-month-old male brindle puppy Toby is a gorgeous playful puppy ready for his loving forever family. Toby weighs 32 pounds and we think he is a Plott Hound mix. He is amazingly behaved at home and would be best with an active family that can take him on plenty of walks, jogs, or hikes. Toby would love to have a yard to run and play in, as he is really enjoying his foster's yard. Toby is affectionate and loves to cuddle and is known to be a couch hoarder and a cuddle and love bug. He’s extremely smart, loyal, devoted, and loves having a routine. We encourage our puppy adopters to provide them with stability, structure, consistency, love, and training to set them up for success. He loves all kinds of stuffed toys, rope toys, and bones. Toby will be an amazing addition to any loving family looking to open their heart and home to a gorgeous male puppy. If you're interested in adopting Toby, please fill out an application at www.doggiebonez.com. You can also check out our social media pages on Instagram (@Doggie_Bonez_Inc_) and Facebook (Doggie Bonez) to see more of Toby's cuteness. Our adoption fee for dogs, which includes vaccinations, fecal testing, wellness exams, microchipping, spaying, or neutering, is $500. If adoption isn't an option, please consider fostering one of our pups. We are a volunteer-run non-profit dog rescue and always welcome new short and/or long-term doggie foster families. We greatly appreciate the help and time of our fosters. You provide all the love, comfort, and safety of a home and we supply you with everything else you may need, dog food, dog bed, toys, medical attention (if needed), etc. If you are interested please visit www.doggiebonez.com to see all of our available dogs who need a foster family while waiting for their fur-ever home and complete the foster application.April 18, 2024, 3:46 pm

Story
Luke was rescued from the San Diego Humane Society. He is a young Plott Hound mix, approximately 74 pounds in weight. He is very majestic with stunning black and brown brindle fur, amber soulful eyes, and a tall muscular stature. According to the American Kennel Club the Plott Hound is intelligent, alert, and confident. He can be a tail-wagging, people-loving dog, but may be a bit standoffish, since he is extremely smart and focused. From a health perspective the AKC says Plotts are generally healthy dogs. A responsible breeder will have had the dog's parents screened for health concerns such as hip dysplasia. Pendant ears such as the Plott's can be prone to infection, so the ears should be checked regularly. Plott Hounds are tough, relentless athletes requiring lots of exercise and outdoor time. Daily vigorous exercise such as long walks or runs or play sessions with his owner will help to keep the Plott mentally and physically healthy. Please apply to adopt Luke at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Luke and get to know him a bit. Donation of $165 for dog adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit (in Orange County, CA). For more information on adoption policies visit our dog adoption page at www.aaloc.org. Contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org or by phone (714) 893-4393.

Meet your New Best Friend at an Adoption Event near you! Blazer is thinking about coming to an adoption event near you very soon. If you’d like to learn more about this pup and their fluffy friends who are looking for their furever homes, check out our website: https://amazingdogs.org/available-dogs/ If you would like to reserve this doggie and have us bring them to the event of your choice for you to meet first, you can do so by paying a non-refundable deposit of $50 to our Venmo or Zelle account (619-918 2142 in the name of Amazing Dogs; pls indicate your telephone number). This deposit will go towards the adoption fee. After receipt of your deposit, we will confirm your reservation and list the doggie on our website as ‘Pending Adoption’. If you decide not to adopt one of our Amazing Dogs, the $50 is considered a compensation for the transportation costs. All our doggies come with their health record and have received all necessary medical care, which includes (but is not limited to) all vaccines, de-wormer, anti-flea/tick medication, microchip and of course spay/neuter surgery. Our adoption fee is $500. Only in California, the fee for babies under a year old is $600. Please consider this not as a price you pay for the doggie, but as a (tax-deductible) donation to our charity, so we can continue our work and take care of the 250+ dogs in our shelter. Read more about why we charge adoption fees here: https://amazingdogs.org/adoption-fees/ If you have any additional inquiries, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via call or text.
